That's what I've been reading. But, being a strength build... all my weapons are slow as **** and weigh a ton.

The dark souls wikis are pretty good. The Uchi is gotten from the first merchant you see in the game (undead sitting in the undead burg with the imaginary gf/pet). You have to kill him.




Oh, and that button input delay is still there... got me in deep **** a few times!

Just got the the final 'pvp' area on my alt. Got a decent amount of good fights in as well as a decent amount of times I was backstabbed .

The backstabbing in this game is so broken.

i agree, it feels like i have a narrow 10 degrees of back-stab area while my character seems to have a 35 degree area where back-stabs are possible. I want to play in human form as much as possible but it's freaking so tedious when you got people trolling a known area

3 dragon scales away from a +5 Dragon Bone Fist. It's all kinds of silly.. 200 damage per hit. Can't wait for the 'S' tier scale. Joined the Darkmoon Covenant. I love judging the guilty.

Farm the dragons in Drake valley. I was farming the dark wraiths in lower new Londo for titanite slabs and I went down to kill the Drakes. Pretty sure I got 2 scales total from killing the 5 Drakes down there.

That was with that item discovery ring and 11 humanity so my item discovery was maxed out.

I've been doing that for most of the day.. That and farming souls from Anor Londo giants to upgrade most of the weapons. I guess I need to get more item find. It took me 3-4 runs to get 2 scales.

I now just need to get the Ember for the +11-15 Normal path. My axe doesn't do enough damage even though it says 500(then factor in armor) it hits around 300

And these javelin archers are just stupid. shot in the back, shot in the front, shot in the back, shot int he front, die.

watching youtube videos just annoys me further because it seems 99% of the guys posting youtube vids are lvl 150+ with huge stamina and life bars. I don't want to grind to get soul levels

4 kings was such a joke on my mage alt. Was literally waiting 15 seconds inbetween each king spawn I killed them so quickly.

Though I got hit once and almost got 1shot because I've got no points in vitality and my armor rating is around 140.

Leveling myself up for now. Still need more endurance and strength (the only 2 stats I am working on). Not going to put anything in Vitality.

Currently using a +14 Demon Great Axe... I'm getting tired of the looks of it though. Next run through I'm getting the Great Lord Greatsword. But, it is impossible to find weapons that scale with strength with at least an A that isn't 20lb+

Also trying to figure out which armor I like more.. Currently none of them look good as a set.

Stats stop scaling well after 40 points. You should have taken some of those extra STR points and popped them into INT to use the magic weapon buff casts. My personal favorite STR weapon is the BK greataxe, it scales A and has a nice move set and is a quick swing for a bigger weapon. I've also heard good things about the demon machette though I've never tried it.

Lifehunt is meh at best. Its regular RB(R1) attack is terrible and when you hit something it builds up bleed on yourself.

Also you realize when you make a weapon lightning it removes stat scaling all together.

highest to lowest goes as follows - S-A-B-C-D-E

My favorite dex weapons are:

Uchigatana at +15 with 40 dex it does 420 damage before armor and also has a bleed effect of 300.

Quellags Fury sword +5 with 10 humanity and 40 dex has about 500~ damage before armor reduction. It's got very fast attacks with a good moveset and it is a good choice for pve.

Unfortunately so. It's a decent weapon for pvp but very bad for pve.

You would expect a scythe to have some horizontal motion in its attack but its a complete vertical down swing, its terrible. And the power attack is a large sweeping motion which isn't bad but you can't combo it at all.

Well, that's where I think most people fail. Stopping at 40 isn't going to cut it for me. I'd be down almost 100 points in damage.

The Dragon Greataxe is the only weapon, aside from the Bone Fist, that Scales to an "S". the Demon Machete Scales to an "A" only. While the Demon Machete gets almost 100 more points in raw damage.. the Demon Great axe does more damage. Even though it only has 275 raw damage against the 332 of the Machete.

I found this out last night when I upgraded the machete. I was pissed that I wasted all that time farming.

I semi-finished my level 30 pvp twink today, just need to finish farming some mats to finish my armor upgrades.

My +5 lightning zweihander does 721 damage and I only have 16 STR and 10 DEX.

I can 1-2 shot most people, 2v1 is a cinch. Even my brother that has only played the game for a few hours has no people killing invaders.
