I just watched it tonight and I was like--->

This movie is about straight up revenge in its pure primal form. I understand the film was cut several times to appease the Korean ratings board. Geesh, I'm glad I didn't see the original cut.

If you enjoyed films such as Old Boy and The Chase, then I Saw the Devil is right up your alley.

I don't think Hollywood is gonna touch this one.

    Nobody else has seen this?

Just watched it over the weekend. Holy crap.

This movie is intense. The extreme violence is countered by a movie with very good direction and polish (imho)

The scene in the taxi was just crazy I think it was all done in one take

That scene was crazy and brilliant. Starts off with the awkward conversation and the tension gets so wound up - leading to that moment of sheer brutality.

    Wow

It seems that revenge movies are quite popular in Korea... I had watched this after The Man from Nowhere, expecting more of the same. I was mistaken!
