Thanks guys. I couldn't image my engine bay without seeing it And figured that out. Dumb mistake.
I put mine back in. With the catch can in that location I dont feel like undoing all the plumbing, removing that just to fill it up, sooo Ive decided to bling it up! Since the catchcan gets up to about 160* Im going to wrinkle coat the neck, wrap it with some dei thermo wrap, and I ordered a polished jcap
on the rabbit there are all these brackets holding sensors and wires that are that ugly gray color, so I took the most visible ones first and wrinkle coated them pics to come in an hour
Don't have any before shots, but I tucked that harness with three connectors on it. The way I re-routed it makes me iffy, but it'll suffice.
If you look closely, you can see the silver piece where there used to be a little metal bracket.
I was going to ask your opinion because doing this leaves no slack at all in the harness.
Is there any stress on the harness during driving? That's the only issue I could see you having really... Mainly from engine movement, etc... I'll start ripping into mine tonight, I'll let you know what I figure out and come up with...
Started working on the back and right side yesterday... You're right, that harness really doesn't have much room... But we checked it out and everything seems ok, gonna hopefully finish it up tonight...
BTW, driving out car with no hood on is crazy loud, LOL!
