    hi fellas!

its this time of the year again and the eurotrip to wörthersee is on its way again.

enjoy my travel diary and our adventures car and not car related pics and so on.

since last years thread (in my sig) got a little pic heavy i decided to put up all vw pics into the subforums and have the main thread running here.

i started in FÖRDE/ NORWAY and had some nice weather to drive the mkIV wintercar.

my ex took me for all my money again and i sterted driving with 25euro in my pockets to a 2000km drive!

    mission: save fuel poor sucka!!

here some landscape pics of norway

the 2nd of together 4 ferrys i had to take, time for an ice cone

in the backround you see a norwegian salmon farm (with the green fences)

i challenge everyone to beat that in a 11 year old 2.0/8v on WINTERTIRES!!

new personal best in mpg and reach

the nothern coast of danmark! (hirtshals)

    border danmark-germany

in the backround behind the 1 million flys you spot the berlin tv tower

i made it to berlin, the price for 45km/h more average speed is 2.5l fuel more on 100km.

i wonder what i could reach with a tdi i am longing for

i will update this thread as soon as i have more pics and i can go online

my bro paul (chromosexual) is on his way to the airport in philly right now and will land here in berlin tomorrow

you may know that my mk1 is ready and i have these here, stay tuned!!!

Any pics of Norwegian "scenery" should include blonde babes.

In for more "scenery" pics and the arrival of American tourists.

In Dusselorf. Mathias has extended unbelievable hospitality. Wish I could say more than that from today. Can't wait to be in Austria.

Looks like a lot of fun so far!

Someday I must do another Eurotrip, with the ring and Wörthersee included.
    Deal with it.

Our tickets for Wörthersee arrived today, I'm getting excited now! We start our journey from England on 27th May, just over a week to go!

If I see your car there I shall take photos and if a random Englishman says hello, it'll probably be me

after the exsesses of the night we packed up our stuff and ht the road to the west!

stopped for a break when on the other side of the road a truck needed to be taken out

went nuts and put mk1 madness stickers all over germany

old border between east and west germany

reached wolfsburg when my mk1 developed a problem, we went to a audi shop to figure it out but no luck so we drove on to the west

and reached my buddy mathias and his wifes place at midnight...

    the next day

we tryed to fix the problem but couldnt get the parts on time so we couldnt go to the ring at all...

we are stuck in düsseldorf because of the mk1 so we decided to get some guys from the golf1.info for visit

i hope i dont have to drive to the see in limp mode

    hi guys

we tryed again to fx the car but no luck so i decided( because the did 120km/h in limp mode on the way to düsseldorf on the flat)

to try to make it down to the chiemsee where our friend had a welcome party going for us from friday evening already...

    all loaded up

    and off we go

but we run into trouble again, engine went into limp mode as soon as it would hit boost (which is really bad uphill) and we drove through the TAUNUS
mountain region, sometimes with as little as 20km/h in 2nd on idle.

that was to unresponsible and dangerous for me and i decided to pull
over on a rest stop and give it up...

ADAC Plus (AAA) is a really good thing if you ever need it.

the driver KLAUS took us the rest of the way (480km) down to my bavarian frends where we arrived @ 03.40 am

    03.50 am
the crazy bavarians bust out ANOTHER keg

    its wochinger!! nam nam

i have still have more pics from the night because we partyed like mad men and never went to bed but the post would be too long.

    Sweet pics.

So, it may be a long shot but are you still running a MAF? Sounds like a flakey MAF or knock sensor issue to me if it happens as soon as you hit boost.

the failure was dirt in the fuel pump! my buddy HaPe found it after 5 min!
cost of fixing 0$, the pump delivered to little engine ecu says no fuel and goes into limp...

you guys wll not belive the odyssey have behind me to come back to norway, but i made it. more to that later.

    on with the tour

after we partyed the rest of the night everyone wanted some breakfast!
everyone jumped into HaPe´s T5 bus and melli drove us to a typical bavaran breakfast: whte saussage and white beer!

it was hot and the 3 days of party took its toll on HaPe

sometime later on the way back to HaPe´s place , paul and peter

    HaPe and helmut

everyone went home and we packed mell and HaPe´s kds into the bus and drove to the chiemsee to relax, that place was heaven!

    UNBELIVABLE PRETTY PLACE!!!!

we relaxed and drove home where i made my famous stuffed mushrooms with shrimps in gorgonzolasauce with fresh bread to it.

that was a really fun day!

anyone an idea what to do with the 3600 car pics i took??

we woke up and HaPe fixed my car, 30min after he left to the shop he trow me keys and said car is fine!
me and pauly couldnt belive it but it was true.

my biggest respect and thanks to HaPe for finding the problem and fixing it so quick!

so we hit the road to the south again

until we reached the famous "mische" gas station in velden

we hooked up with our friends again and started a barbecue

i need to know what to do with all the car pics?!

if you guys could help me and find me the links to the pic posts please, i already sorted the car pics into mk1,2,3,4,5,6, others, engine bays, interior, stereo folders that i am uploading as i type...[/QUOTE]
