I've noticed if I already have the thread subscribed, it does check it for me. But I want it to auto-subscribe to all replied topics (ie. have that box checked ALL the time, so just in case I quick reply, and don't remember specifically to check it, I still become subscribed).

I know this isn't your day job or anything, but did you find anything out? Vortex is much more painful without FV. I don't want to roll back to Chrome stable because there are typically new things in beta that I need to try...
I have installed most of the popular bolt-on mods for a 2008 R32, minus suspension work. I know a lot about electronics and car audio, and have experience with VCDS ("vagcom"). I'm a radar/lidar countermeasure enthusiast. I like track days, autocross, and US Highway 129. I love aural pleasure.

Is there supposed to be anything under the "FireVortex Forum Tools" menu at the main page of a forum? It drops down a bit, but it just seems like an empty menu for me ("Product Search [beta]" drops down correctly, it seems).

Oh, and still would appreciate a pre-check on the "subscribe to this thread" checkbox with quick reply. it's really annoying enough that I must uninstall FV if it can't be done... I just found myself replying to four threads this morning that I'm now not subscribed to for replies. This means I have to search for replies under my username, and manually add each one to my subscribed topics. Nothing quick about that at all...

Ended up forced to disable quick reply until a solution can be found, I just can't remember to hit that subscribe button did it a few more times this morning. Regular replies auto-subscribe, why would I not want my quick replies the same way?

sorry didn't get around to updates... i made the mistake of upgrading ubuntu to 13.04 and my entire system is hosed at the moment. currently migrating back to windoze but at least now i can get on the beta channel for chrome to test out that other issue.
