Any way we can get a direct download of the XPI file? My work firewall blocks all automatic installers, but last time I checked I could download an XPI file - especially if the file extension is changed to TXT or something.

Dang, firewall's blocking XPI files too. Oh well.

I can't download XPI files on my Android phone because the file type "isn't supported," so I can't e-mail it to myself that way. I used to be able to download it at home, e-mail it via gmail, then pull the attachment from gmail at work, but now gmail's attachment server is blocked.

FWIW - I'm going to start moving the code base of FireVortex to GitHub - if anyone wants to fork n pull updates on their own to push back into the core. Hopefully by next week I'll have the base javascript up.

Custom emoticon URLs do not work for me. Changes saved are confirmed but addresses do not reflect nor do the emoticons appear as an option when posting. Using public URLs from my DropBox, Chrome 20.0.11342 and Win7.

So FV seems to be broken for me right now...

Running Chrome (beta channel) v. 27.0.1453.15 on a Mac (OS 10.8.x, latest).

It was working a week or so ago IIRC. Haven't been back on a Windows PC to see if it is having problems, will know tomorrow...

Exactly, like the extension isn't even loading at all (Although it says it is loaded in Chrome's extensions section).

Vortex looks like normal Vortex rather than FV-enhanced.

Happening on my work PC (Win 7) as well, still beta channel (27.0.1453.15 beta-m).

I can try rolling back to standard Chrome but knowing Google, the beta will become release in a few more weeks anyway...

Isn't quick reply purely a fire vortex thing? You can't set it to auto check that box?

right now it will try and determine the last 70 subscribed topics and autocheck the box (might be a slight delay, every 5 minutes)
