I thought in July I'd be celibrating my 24th but I was later informed that I'm already 24 Somewhere between my birthday last year and 3-4 months ago, it was brought to my attention that I was indeed 24 and not 23 It was life altering/shattering. So in July I'll be 25...aka a quarter century old

Haha its not that special. I'm having some minor issues with it already. Oil return line off the turbo leaks and the turbo is passing a bit of oil. Thats what happens when you buy a used setup I guess. Oh well.

-OBD2 aba 97 motor swap with a T3 turbo setup, 2.5'' wrapped downpipe.
-runs 8-9psi daily.
-C2 stg1 software and fueling
-TT 2.25'' exhaust
-spec stg2+ clutch and lighten flywheel-020 trans, new or good shifter bushings
-plated oil pan

No need to build that 2.0l till you break the 250 hp mark I've seen stock 2.0s at the 300 hp mark no issues

Makes me wanna BT the g/f's 2.0 GTI automatic. And drop a manual trans in it of course. It may soon be retired since the insurance company is thinking about totaling it. She hit a raccoon and it demolished the radiator yet again. If they total it I may offer to buy it back as a beater.

maybe down the line more boost... i believe its just stock internals still. I know one aba has forged pistons i dont remember if its obd1 or 2

if it was tuned by C2 montorsport; all mentioned in the first paragraph should be taken care of. My friend has an OBD1 big turbo corrado and he just threw an 11lb spring in the wastegate and he's still running fine. He's about to go water meth.

If the rabbit is an obdII 2.0 then you've got worlds more tuning options. most every big named manufacture makes a big turbo file i'd imagine for the 2.0. But 180hp in a rabbit is the perfect combo, anymore and it's useless; waiting till the top of third to hook.

I know a guy who drifts a 160whp miata; thing keeps up with the SR20's and alike just fine.

The only thing keeping my 1.8 from hitting 320 HP at the moment is slow shipping from Canada. I'm still waiting on my Maestro dongle to arrive.

I want to feel what 180 feels like in that car though. I always wanted a mk1 or mk2 golf w/ a 1.8T swap.
