Thread: My 2010 JSW with Passat CC Daytona Wheels

  1. 05-23-2011 10:33 PM #1
I couldn't find much information online with this combination so I'm posting mine here for others in the future.

    - Car: 2010 Jetta Sportwagen S 2.5 w/Sunroof
    - Color: White Gold
    - Wheels: "Daytona" 18x8 ET41 off of a 2011 Passat CC
    - Tires: 225/40/18
    - Suspension: Stock (with Photoshop lowering example while I save for real lowering)

Hope others will find this post helpful in the future.

    Thanks.

Your car came up when I was researching these wheels on an MK6 but the photo was dark so I couldn't get a good representation of how they looked. I never saw this photo. Looks great! I wouldn't have second guessed my purchase before they were mounted if I had seen this photo. I'm glad I decided to mount them. I'm very happy with how they look. I only wish I was riding 1-1.5" inches lower. Is yours lowered in this photo? If so, what suspension? Thanks.

Thanks. Not lowered yet. The 235/40s have tall sidewalls and filled in the fenders pretty good. I have switched to 225/40s and there is more fender gap. DG springs are in the garage waiting on some new dampers. 18x8 ET41 Daytonas FTW.

"Mark" is a British military designation and it is abbreviated either "MK", or "Mk", but NEVER "mk". It's an old argument as to how to pronounce it as well. You say "emm kay" and the hordes of Vortex trolls will attack you. Everyone on the Vortex pronounces VR6 as "VEE-ARE-SIX", and not "Vee-Reihenmotor". It's about personal preference.
