We’re setting up a new program for dealerships to market on VWvortex (and Fourtitude and Swedespeed if you’re interested) that is tailored to a dealer’s needs. We’re looking for a few dealerships to try out the new program and figure there’s nowhere better to start than with dealers who are regulars in here.

There are a few dealers down here in Miami, FL that are enthusiast friendly but from what I've seen, heard and know, it all depends on who you know. Some service writers and tech will flat out threaten you with voiding your warranty for the smallest performance modification (i.e., cold air intake, exhaust, ecm flash, etc) while others won't give a damn if you're on a big turbo putting down 400+ whp on pump. It really all depends. I get some service done at a local dealer because some friends of mine are techs and service writers. They never gave me any shtick about warranty issues. Then again I wasn't claiming any either. I mean, if you blow your motor or tranny because you were putting down power you can't expect the dealer to foot the bill. Now, if I take the car in for some regular repair like say for example, replacing the power steering pump, or fixing the A/C and either one of those takes a dump within the warranty period, they're not gonna call the voided warranty card on me. Anyway, I think your idea is a good one but it seems like no one has come forward. I will pass this onto some of my friends.

I start this Monday the 16th at a VW dealer in Hunterville NC as a service advisor. I have been in the business for a long time mostly with BMW last few years with Nissan and now I will be starting with VW.
