I'm always on the lookout for quality TV series, something that we can download from iTunes and then watch for an hour or so at night for a week or two in a row.

We've been through a few already, the highlights of which have been Arrested Development, The Wire and Mad Men and we're now nearly through Breaking Bad.

I've heard Generation Kill is good, but it doesn't seem to have been released onto iTunes yet.

    Anyone got any other recommendations?

Generation Kill is good viewing if you like more anecdotal, fly-on-the-wall docudramas.
It won't win any screenplay awards.
Firefly is fantastic, as per Tim's recommendation.
    Have you looked at Deadwood?

Wave your hands in the air like you've ever been to a nightclub in your life or even danced when other humans are present if you too have been waiting 5 (five) years for the next book in the series to be released. On July 12 I'm planning on locking down all inbound ports on my wind/solar powered smoothwall box, sitting down with a 5pk maggi chicken flavoured in the Sunbeam rice cooker and a jolt cola chilling on my homemade peltier setup, and just reading all the words quietly in my head. (although my lips might move a bit)

That Korean girl is hot, but still has nothing on Morena Baccarin.

    Not on iTunes.

Not overly impressed with firefly as it turns out. It tended to drift into predictability and adopted a stock format. The idea was better than the execution methinks.

Only half way through the series, not sure if we'll make it to the end.

Yep. Pretty much unbelievable in the construct of the show and reactions of the participants.
