Recently finished The Sopranos. Now watching Empire Boardwalk.

Looking for Generation Kill, but it's not on iTunes. What's my next option? I'd prefer to pay for it, but if I can't get a legit copy, I'll consider other options.

Revenge isn't on iTunes yet either, but I suspect that will happen soon enough.

Generation Kill is not really worth it IMO. At the risk of sounding gheyer than normal, have you seen Downton Abbey?

...though I've just taken to watching Pawn Stars, but that's more to watch during downtime when I want to switch my brain off.

My Mum was talking about that. You two should catch up for a cup of tea.

Did Shameless (the UK) version get a guernsey here? Just started the second series. Also, new Sherlocks are out; although I haven't watched them yet.

may well be old news for some, but we watched most of the first season of "The Walking Dead" yesterday.

If someone explained the premise to you (cop goes into coma after being shot, wakes up and everyone is a zombie) you'd just laugh, but it really works well. Also has the hot chick from season 1 of Prison Break, so that's a plus

been watching it for a while need to catch up on a few eps. Has Egg from "This Life" in itv

I was going to recommend a new show called "Luck" with Dustin Hoffman but see it's been cancelled after some horses died. First season might be still worth it. I hate Horse Racing but was really getting into it.

Also watched the first episode of "Boss" a while back. Don't let Kelsey Grammer put you off he is great in this

Watched the two seasons of Rome recently. Started off as an epic tale in the true sense, but you get the impression that ratings weren't that good and so they had to compress some of the more momentous events of the Roman empire into a handful of episodes. As a result, the story arc just plummeted.

    Nice costumes tho.

If you get a chance watch the Louis Theroux Documentary "Twilight of the Porn Stars" You can skip most of it except for the 5 minutes he spends with former extreme porno director Rob Black.

Yeah, I rewatched the old one, then watched new one. I thought they were both quite interesting.

Half way through the series of Generation Kill.

It's an HBO mini-series based on the story of some marines deployed in the second Iraq war. Started off slowly, but has gradually become riveting.

Liz refused to finish watching the first episode, so it's not universally admired. But it's otherwise fascinating and disturbing in equal measure. Four stars Margaret.

I love most things that are military-inspired, but I found this series a bit ho-hum. It must be good having a low standard, Matt? Everyone is awesome for you.

Nothing ho-hum about it at all. Watch it again and listen this time.

    Or read the book.

It is what it is, a bit of anecdotal story-telling. Nothing brilliant about that. Nor is it uniquely insightful in portraying the controversy and outrage that hasn't already been covered in the hundred+ books and articles chronicling the debacle that are Bush's wars.

Go see Armidillo, Restrepo and No end in sight. We'll talk then fvkrs.

Yeah, she does my head in. Besides that, I'm into Sorkin's pontifications.
