lol. Yeah that will be gone when it goes for paint. It's going back to the factory white. Later on in life when I have a 2nd car after college, I'm stripping everything out of it and repraying the entire thing Lagoon Blue.
I didn't notice the "Vintage Volkswagen" script. Who even does that?

L90E Alpineweiss will look great....I think you'll fall in love with it, especially with the proper rims. Lagoon Blue is a little too MKIV, IMO.

From what the PO told me, it's from the PO before him. It was a young kid, he cheaply 2 toned and and put that sticker on. and the PO before me just didn't care. Also the kid apparently had a girlfriend named Amanda. I know this cause she wrote all over the visors.. lol.

Maybe two tone is the next trend? You might be on to something here..

Say a prayer for my Mk1....

I changed the coolant and I'm pretty sure I found oil in it.

I'm just doin a cheap $100 Rustoleum paint job. Something to not make it look like a 2 tone POS. After I'm done with college I'll actually strip the entire car and get a real paint job.

I'm definitely posting picture once I'm done. Should be ready Sunday night or Monday morning. And it should look pretty good. I'm already happy the way it's turning out.

Final coat was put on last night. Wet sanding and putting taillights, bumper, and trim back today. Don't mind the bumper...

It's done! Well for the most part. Some little things need to be put on, but it won't make a difference really. Gas door ended up being in the trunk and forgot to spray it, little over spray on the tire (****in bags wouldn't stay on), roof trim, and emblem need to be put on. But she's done. No more 2 tone! Woo!
