That's the one thing that's great about this car. There's so little left to do. It's just a pain in the @$$ trying to make time to do it. The quarter flares and euro tub are in, just need to throw them on, have the replacement door cards, so they just need to go in, then pick the hood and grill spoiler up from paint and put them on. The wheels are going to be a pain because I'll need to get tires and have the wheels refinished and then sort out spacers etc. But for the most part, the car is 90% of the way there. I'll rip into it over winter (pull the motor, paint the bay, ditch the current interior, get some new wheels...) but for now, for this season, it's ALMOST done. haha

Got the hood, grille spoiler and new gas cap door from the body shop. Man did they do a nice job. hoping to get them, along with all of the quarter flares and the new euro plate tub on next weekend.

Then just need a new front bumper, some new wheels, a REALLY good detail and a thorough inspection from the crew at MobileOne, and she'll be good to go.

I got no pics to share. Wheels and adapters have been sourced, finally. 16x7 and 16x8 Porsche D90s. Will be going to powdercoating as soon as the 7s get here. Gloss white with some gloss black detailing. Should look really nice.

Gunna try and get some work done on her this weekend. But not 100% sure I'll be able to make it out to the garage. Damn it I need a big ass shop close to my house where I can store/work on all these damn project cars.

My clutch is slipping, I don't have the funds to get it fixed, I don't have the space to do it myself. I have barely driven my MK1 coupe all season. I want to cry.

I'm doggin' it on my coupe as well. Bay is done..car is in garage and motor/trans in basement. My excuse all summer was "it's too hot"!

It has been too hot; my AC compressor in my car needs a new bearing. I've just been avoiding driving in general this season; too high temps and way too much construction, including on roads that don't need work.

Yea, too hot is too hot for anything. Can't work in garage without sweating your yarbles off and it was too hot to drive the beetle. I'll get the motor in over the winter so I'm ready for next show season.

I texted the guy for the heck of it from this ad. He really wants to get rid of it because he "really wants a truck"

Just one problem: he said he can't get the doors to open.

Also, I had to ask him if it's gas or diesel; its gas.

Anyway, if you feel like dealing with the dimmest bulb in the chandelier, I'd scoop this up if I were you:

Too pricey for what it is. Maybe if it was pulled out and cleaned up AND running.. I need to get mine back together before even consider getting another car.

Easy to find or just make your own. I went to an under dash custom made brake booster. Bay will be uber clean.

Hell yeah.. everybody's invited in here. I started this forum to generate more interest in the coupes.
I'd love to see some international participants!
