not sure if you guys consider arch-viz art but ya

a client wanted this done by the end of the day and I got the details at noon so here's what I ended up with'

Guess it's some fancy store on Madison Ave.. Wish I could of had another 4 hours to work on it to make it somewhat decent but the client gets what the client wants lol

Tell me about what you do and how you do it. I've seen your stuff before on here.

I wouldn't mind getting into something similar as a sort of hobby

This is my first custom vinyl figure. They come in a blank matte white figure and here's what I came up with. The robotic eye lights up red also.

Just put the final touches on this vinyl character. I call it seafood on the brain

What type of paint are you using? Your ideas for the vinyls are cool, but the finish on the paint is really off putting.

I couldnt agree more. It bugs me like crazy but I just grabbed some matte finish acrylic paint I used for an old project. Im also using too small of a brush so it shows alot of strokes.

Ah I see. You should try thinning out your acrylics. Or buy some specifically for painting on vinyl. I know they're expensive but they look solid. Also, try Sharpie brand paint markers. They dry pretty well w/o brush strokes. You just have to use a steady hand. Try using a ruler to rest your hand on while it sits against your desk at an angle ,like this /

    Rest it in the middle.

I plan on scooping some better paint. These were test runs and im fairly happy with the turnout minus the paint. Thanks for the tips

Here's some of my latest design work.

    From my own wedding:

    Letterpressed on black paper stock.

    UV printed:

Our party favours - sacks of herbs to put in olive oil.

    Some other random work.

Lots of nice work seen here.

I've not designed or illustrated in years, but still often find myself taking notes using visual imagery, charts, and diagrams. Whenever I am captive such as long conference calls, I'll often doodle just like in the old days. Here's some of the illustrations that have made my notes from the past couple of days.
