      i read in the last page that your a tech at a vw shop. dude! where have you been?! quick question.. where can i find a reader for a OBD1 2.0L 8v?? i read your list of parts and upgrades but your mention OBD2 and OBD1 so which one is it?

      btw... killer f**kin jetta. lovin it and that sound and stance. fly ass sh*t you got there.

      Its a 97 so its an OBD2, the OBD1 cylinder head flows more air stock and can accommodate a larger camshaft.

      good build thread. I am definitely following this. The attention to detail is above and beyond.
      One question though, what are the benefits to the o2j cables/box swap over the o2a stuff?

      It looks really good. Do you have any videos of some pulls? I wonder what you're putting down power wise. Probably around 120-125 whp or so.

      An upgraded rear mount (.5 or above) on an ABA causes a lot of unwanted vibrations.
      I might just move to the stealth rear mount too.

      Yeah what AJ said...i had the .5 in the rear on previous cars and it was unreal especially with the AC on. My dash rattled like crazy.... With this combo it still feels almost stock yet there is still no engine movement which is awesome.
