i want to get some license plate leds and the zizas are on backorder through ecs and i got my led drls from here and i love them. which 194 should i get though? i was thinking the 5x5050

I ordered LEDs for my interior but just now noticed that there is a middle light unlike the picture on the first page where there is only 2 map lights. Anyone know what bulb the middle one is? I guess I'll find out when I install the 2 I just ordered but I'd rather order this last one now then wait

That should be a 42mm but what light do you have!? Never saw one like that before!

Okay well I read every single page and came up with what "I think" is bulbs that dont throw codes that will all match 6000-6500k. Can any one double check this before I order these? From what I read people on this thread agreed all of these "do not" throw codes. Let me know what you think.. Thanks!!!

Finally fixed my rear overhead lights.

I finally finished installing my piranha led boards in the rear housing. I had done it earlier in the week but had a slight mishap due to a quality issue. It appears the wire used in the adapters was so cheap that it arched and well the results are below. I fixed that problem by soldering directly to the housing board.

BOTH, yes Both adapters arched and melted however they did so in different spots, the one here only melted the adapter while the other melted the wires from the board to the adapter as well as the adapter!





I solved the problem by using some left over wire from an OEM harness and I soldered it directly to the light housing connectors. No problems so far and none expected.
What do you guys think of the look/color of the boards? They are supposedly the same brand and color as the one I have in front but for some reason the color is a bit off but still looks good IMO. and BTW no power leak!

I think the socket you are referring to is the open one on the top? That's for the rear fog. It's plug n play like the mk4 was. but the stock lamp is not capable of supporting proper fog unless you drill a hole for the light to show through.

In my car that spot where the blue arrow is, it turns on with my headlights.

I have the Full L on the outside and that spot Glowing when driving with headlights on.
The one next to that spot is my Blinker.

My car is weird, Its a Normal SE but i have 4 Discs brakes all around and my friends SE doesn't (Rear Drums).

Hummm i thought thats the BA15. for stop and driving.

The one above it. in the middle where the Blue arrow is...

Maybe i just take that thing apart this weekend and see if that thing can be reprogrammed with Vag or I will rewire that thing.

The BA15s bulb lights the whole area up. The holder only has 3 spots 1 is empty unless you have rear fogs, 1 is for reverse, and the other is the BA15s

i finally solved the power leak problems bugging my interior lights....

installed foot-well lights and problem solved!!!

Just installed the license plate 194s and after 2 seconds of having them on they shut off can anyone tell me the exactly fuse it could be the fuse diagram looks like hyrogliphics to me please help

i used LED strips. Its the only way i could think of since my Jetta didn't have provision for the foot-well lights



there's a remote control for them and many functions and colours as u can see
