Serious question:

Did anyone get a chance to see actor Sean Hayes in the new 3 Stooges movie?

My partner and I saw it. I was never a fan of the stooges three. When I was little, it just drove me nuts. I couldn't get past the fact they'd all be dead with the stupid crap they did.

I did very much enjoy the movie though. I think all three guys did a great job of portraying their characters.

The new letter states the original amount wasn't correct, so because I didn't pay the taxes on the correct amount, I now owe the difference, PLUS late fees & penalties... which is complete bullsh*t because I paid based of what the government told me to do.

What wasn't correct? The amount of the forgiven debt or the taxes due on that amount? The amount of the debt should match your 1099-C. I'm not understanding what justification they have for this.

Crappy. Keep trying because this definitely does not sound right. The state needs to have a good explanation for why they think you owe taxes on a forgiven amount that differs from, and is higher than, what the bank reported as forgiven, which the bank did via 1099-C.

I've scanned the past 10 pages. It appears all the important gay issues have been discussed a long time ago and now this is just the gay chit chat thread.

I've also noticed that most of the gays are only posting in this thread and nowhere else in OT. Therefore, this thread and its participants are guilty of segregating homos and heteros in OT.
