    Lol.

I don't see it as sexual really. For some reason it highlights incompatibility. I'm not saying I see it offensive, but it isn't really appealing or funny. But the "safe" part is. Lol.

Need help! Don't have a single ounce of decorating or design talent in my entire body. I've got light gray/blue walls and a dark gray/blue wall with a gray couch and natural colored flooring.

What should I use as an accent color? Orange, maybe yellow? Or Red? I don't even...

Someone in the thread has got to have an idea.

Something lighter but muted, you're on the right track with orange (. That might be perfect actually. Check out burnt orange if the room has a lot of natural light. Something lighter than that if the room is a bit darker.

ah yeahhh, maybe there's hope after all. Orange was my first guess.

The lighting situation is a little difficult. I have several windows but my unit is on the northeast corner. Most of my windows face north and I have two that face east. Nice evening light but it's a little dark during the day.

So I just found this, and thought it was interesting. They Abbey is probably one of the only homo bars in the world that could pull this off, due to how constantly busy they are.

    http://blogs.laweekly.com/informer/2...te_parties.php

I appreciate the political statement, but like I said, most other bars probably couldn't afford to turn away that kind of business. But now at least the Abbey will be one LA bar where you can go and enjoy being free from huge gaggles of screaming drunk obnoxious twatts.

Am I missing something, or did they also ban twinks who work in retail?

I just heard that. I was kind of shocked, actually. He's definitely a nerd, but nerd <> gay (for the most part).

So, I finally got around to test driving a Mini Countryman S All4 tonight.

I'm still torn. It definitely lacks a bit of power compared to my Audi, although, not as much as I'd expect. Same with handling. Obviously doesn't handle as well, but still much better than I would have expected.

So pluses, it's a bit bigger, sits a little higher, so better visibility. And of course, AWD. Minuses, the dash is a bit cheap looking (But the rest of the interior is excellent).

I think the extra room + AWD could outweigh the little loss of power and handling. It's just nice not having a car payment. Although, blue book of the Audi is very good right now, so between what I'd get for sale / trade + downpayment, I'd have the Mini paid off in a year. So that's not all that bad.

It's a cool car, and I may be leaning towards going for it. I just need to make sure I'm not doing it cause I'm getting the itch, and end up missing the Audi once the novelty wears off.

One weird thing. To look at it, I still don't even see it as a Crossover. It still looks very small. But when driving, I past a CR-V, and felt it was every bit as big.

I dont understand why a group that is fighting for equality turns towards discrimination to oppose discrimination. Let the drunk chicks have their fun.

I wouldn't say a group is discriminating, I would say a bar owner may be discriminating. I would also counter that there are PLENTY of 'straight' bars that "discriminate" against too many dudes or fat chicks entering using a bouncer at the door.

Maybe I was being to general with my comment. But keeping the straight girls out of your establishment as a political statement seems backwards. I would think that most straight girls that go to gay bars are pro gay marriage. So why keep em out even if they are a little annoying?

But I could just be selfish cuz I like feeling on titties.

Nobody is keeping out straight girls. They're just keeping out bachelorette parties. Big difference.
