    Story:
After owning a 2007 UG MK5 GTI for almost 3 years, I wasn’t very happy with the car because of several problems I had with the GTI. Due to the engine design is flaw on the FSI motor, visited the shop 4 times a month. Until Spring of 2009, I decided to start selling the GTI and looking at cars like E46 BMW M3, ’06 to ’07 WRX STI, EVO 9 MR, MK4 R32, E36 M3, and Audi A4 2.0T with S-Line/Titanum Package. It was tough finding a car that matches my budget, however, I almost bought a Laguna Seca 2001 BMW M3 with 19” wheels and 32k miles from a friend of my brother. After many of deep researches on the M3 including maintenance and others, I find that it is very expensive to own this M3 and not a great idea for me to own it since I need a car that can brave out the snowstorm and transport snowboard and stuffs. I decided not to get the M3. I took the GTI off the classified until I went to Germany in fall of 2009 for Oktoberfest, Nurburgring, Porsche Factory/Museum Tour, and ALPs. On this very first night out, I saw my first BMP MK6 GTI 4Dr on the street of Munich not very far from Hofbrauhaus. After checking out the MK6 GTI, I fell in love. Next 2 days, took a road trip up to Nurgburgring, rented two Sciroccos for the Track fun with my father and two brothers. There was CSG MK6 GTI 4 Door waiting to go on the ‘Ring. Cannot stop staring at the car, and realized it’s so much better than the MK5 GTI. I said to myself, I have to get one of those myself. Went directly to Garnet VW to see if they have any MK6s in stock. They only have two demos. Took the MK6 GTI 2DR for a long test drive with my friend/salesman, and got back to the dealership. Checking out the Candy White 4 door GTI, I decided to order the car right away. The originally order was Candy White GTI 4 Door with HID, Dynaudio, 17” Denvers, and Sunroof. My friend found the car that almost matches my order but minus dynaudio. I decided to take it anyway. On October 28th, 2009, I picked the car up! Happily ever after with the car!

The night I pick the car up:

You should have told the old fart to get out of the way before you snapped the rear fog pic.

I think I know him....He's one of those guys (me) thinks that owning a gti is gonna bring back his college days.

Results - So much better! The ride is more smoother and even firmer than the OEM Struts with H&R sport springs! Better rebound with the bilsteins than the oem! Yea, it is lot stiffer than it was! Handling has improved!

Thanks to Branman for the help with installing the bilsteins and the h&r rsb!
Looks good!! Did the bilstiens take care of the 'bounce'. I had 4 people in my car yesterday and going down the freeway you could definitely feel a bounce. Felt like my car was broken.

Perfect drop for me, I think I'll be going this route when it's time to get low.
