Any idea how much farther down this bar allows you to go before hitting the axle... compared to the stockbar?
What is the real difference between this and the stock bar?

As far as how low can you go.. the bar can support a 2" drop - beyond that we can't promise that it will work, but it is possible to go lower.

We have some pictures of it installed in our install instructions, which we will have posted to the product listing this afternoon

Just drove my friend 95 Camero with his new sway bars and I am sold on getting some for my 20th. Just wondering what the average thickness of sway bars usually is, can anyone describe first hand how their candle handles before and after they bolted these on? Thanks guys

Are you asking what the stock swaybar thickness is?

Stock swaybar thickness is 21mm for non-sport suspension and 23mm sport suspension.
I believe that's correct - I don't have a guide of sorts to check stock sway diameters.
With some research on Vortex, I'm sure you could check me on that.

Our aftermarket swaybars are solid 25mm bars.
Check out website for more information on why we went with solid bars:

      http://yhst-1918367471896.stores.yah...tmk4resw2.html

Other aftermarket bars come in vary diameters, based on your driving/performance needs.

Hi, these looks pretty nice. Can you tell me if the bushings are self-lubricating like the H&R's? Do this bar require maintenance? I've heard bars like the neuspeed need to be lubed every 6 months or so to prevent squeaks.

I have a stock sport RSB at 23mm. Do you think I would notice much of a difference going to this one? Also, do you know if the stock sport bar is hollow? I already have bilstein sport shocks and H&R springs. Looking for better cornering and stability. I'd imagine the RSB helps to reduce understeer quite a bit. Do they come in black? Thanks

The bushings provided with your Stabila bars are black, graphite impregnated polyurethane, self lubricating bushings and reduce the tendency to bind and squeak. However, many customers still choose to lubricate the bushings.
Myself, I have a Mk5 with our Stabila bar and I did not lubricate the bushings. I've driven thousands of miles with any binding your squeaking.

If you drive spiritedly, you'll definitely notice a difference with the Stabila RSB. Our solid swaybars are much stiffer and have a higher capacity to resist torsional load.

All of our Stabila bars come in a gloss silver powdercoat finish.

You should have no issues with the drop you have planned. The only time it becomes a potential problem is when you go extremely low.
