Based on our popular Mk5 Core Interlock Performance motor mount, we are excited to announce the release of a specially tuned mount specifically for the TDI chassis to create a comfortable yet sporty driving experience. This new application is made with slightly softer durometer polyurethane that is well suited to the TDI daily driver.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

Our upgraded mounts reduce motor flex to improve torque transfer to the drivetrain, and prevent excessive movement under hard acceleration. Shifter engagement is faster and easier and stability is improved. These mounts will solidify the engine's connection to the chassis while still isolating its vibrations from the cabin.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The unique Core Interlock design was born to balance sensitive chassis harmonics while maintaining a comfortable feel of the engine at idle.

Unlike other urethane inserts which merely reinforce the OEM rubber mount; this is a completely re-engineered one stop solution that will control the engine’s motion without the need to install aftermarket side mounts.

They are physically interchangeable allowing you to fine tune the comfort vs. performance level to suit your driving style. Each durometer offers a distinct driving characteristic and is recommended for the following applications:

• HVW-904-75 softest durometer, ideal for Mk5/Mk6 TDI daily driver
• HVW-904-80 soft durometer, ideal for Mk6 Golf/Jetta/GTI daily driver
• HVW-904-85 medium durometer, ideal for the 4 cyl. Mk5, Golf R, and Audi TTS

I was super happy with the HPA Interlock from day one. Much quicker shifts, not really any noticable vibes in car, super easy to install took under hour from start to finish.

No insane vibrations or buzzing. It’s quite comfortable.

Just for sake of putting it out there, my vibrations have reduced since it was first installed.

The mod is worth it...wow does this thing help smooth out the power delivery in the first few shifts from a stop...feels much better and seems like it comes off the line quicker and more purposeful.

Definitely a noticeable improvement. Was much more noticeable when I switched to M mode, smoother shifts and a more planted feel, the herky jerky unsafe-feeling downshifts have been pretty much thwarted. Can't wait to flog it in some twisties! It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

I've had the TDI mount for a couple of weeks.

AMAZING product. Completely changes the car, one of my best mods for sure.

The best part, and probably the only feedback some people will need: My wife did NOT notice. Even after I told her something had changed on the car, she could not notice the change. Even after I asked if she felt more vibration, she just said no. She DID notice when I put lowering springs in the car, if that helps you quantify it.

I own a 2010 JSW TDI w/ 6MT; at first mount was installed improperly--wasn't flush. I made the insert flush and aligned properly; however the symptoms remain--car shutters at liftoff and has a noticeable change to the cabin with audible noise at low RPM <1500; going up hill the car shakes/vibrates more than going downhill. I believe the low end torque doesn't mix well with this stiff mount. This mount was not tested on a manual, though I would assume this would not matter much. I found another owner of the mount with 2011 TDI JSW with the same problem; he is switching back to the OEM. I believe this mount is geared more towards a gasser engine with end-range torque, but I am not an engineer just a driver and I am not pleased with the cost of this mount and its performance, sorry HPA--suggested advertisement of retained cabin comfort isn't not my result and that is frustrating because I have to drive my car daily.

Night and day difference between the two mounts. I was slightly skeptical based on the weight between the two, with the old mount weighting 0.2 grams lighter. Installed the same way as with the old mount--flush. Torqued and took it for a test drive. Significantly less vibration on the steering wheel, pedals and car doors. In first there is a slight cabin noise (1/10 the amount of the old mount). My car has a few vibrations (both doors and center console) from the previous mount which hopefully will calm down as time goes. I am very impressed with HPA's response and corrective action. Well worth the price and hassle.
