I haz not been on interwebz in a while. The hoomins were down at H2O and things were quite busy after they came back.



We decides to take a break from teh watercools and began our aircooled build. It was much easier than teh MK1. I don't see what those aircooled guys complain so much. It was not that hard...amachurz.

We starded with teh chassis. I chose teh floor pattern.



Teh Maya is a smart cookie, so she did teh engine build.





Teh hipsters say that mad camber yo is teh shiz. I iz ironic now?

It has been a while since Ranger was on the computer. Ranger has always had an negative attitude toward hoom... I mean, humans. He has been getting more physical than usual, so we took away his internet privileges for the time being.

I tried to shoot video of his misbehavior, but he wasn't having that.

Hai guyz!

I haven't been on in a while. I have been in hibernashunz mode over teh winter. Warmer weather tends to bring out the riff-raf, so I haz begun patrolling meh territoriez again.



A few days ago, I got into my first big fight of teh season. This local rusty cat had come into teh area and was spraying on my stuffs. I gave him a verbal warning, but after ignoring my threats, things got physical. As we began throwing down, I realized that Rusty had taken his mineralz and grew some balls over teh winter. We were going blow for blow, but he just wouldn't back down. Nuno Hoomin heard the fighting and quickly came out and broke us up.

When we got inside, meh addrenelines was still pumping. I was a little beat up, but you should have seen what Rusty looked like. After a while, I calmed down and eventually went to bed.

The following morning, I wasn't feeling myself and also had a limp. The hoominz noticed this quickly and started looking me over. They first noticed that I had hit Rusty so hard, that a chunk of his fur was still stuck in my paw, which consequently was also sprained and quite swollen. They also noticed that Rusty managed to sneak in a gnarly bite and left puncture wounds in my right shoulder. We didn't know what kind of diseases Rusty may be carrying, so the hoominz made an appointment with teh vet.

I was pretty upset and not feeling well. The carrier didn't help either.



When we got there, teh vet checked me out. He complimented the hoominz on my muscular physique and handsomeness (I'm single btw ladies ). He prescribed some antibiotics and gave me a rabies booster which should last a year.

The shots made me feel under teh weather for a couple of days. The hoominz took care of me as well as they could and even gave me my meals in bed.



The good news is that after 3 days, I am finally putting weight on my front paw. I am hopping onto window ledges and training indoors (I can't let myself get weak).





I should be 100% in a couple of weeks and will be back outside hunting down Rusty.

Happy Memorial Day weekends everyone!

I haven't posted in a while. Teh weather has been too nice for me to sit in front of the puter. There are kittehs to fight, squirrels to hunt and cars to wash.

Nemo-hoomin recently purchased a camera and haz been up my tail taking pickshurz.

At first it was cool. I even posed a few times.







But after a while, it started getting old.





When the hoomin wasn't playing National Geographic in teh backyard, he was snapping photos of teh cars.





That's all fer now. While you hang out with teh friends and family, remember why we have this day. Now go wash yer wheels.

We haz been busy at teh Volkshaus. The girl hoomin has a new hobby called autocross, which is when hoomins drive fast around stuff to catch the laser at the end. Pfft, I can catch the red dot in my sleep.

I halped the boy hoomin to detail Gretta for sale.



After one last inspekshuns of the undercarriage, I gave the car my stamp of approval.... all over the hood and windshield. He earned it!

Volkshaus had an intruder last week. On his morning patrol, Ranger found a guy under the TT up to no good. We nabbed him before he could take off.

It turns out he was just a kid down on his luck, and we felt kind of bad seeing him behind bars. We negotiated his release and he's been staying with us ever since. He's not a bad guy once you get to know him, although Ranger still doesn't trust him.

For those of you affected by the storm: stock up, seek shelter, and stay calm!



Here are some storm preparedness tips that enthusiasts can relate to:

1. Use painter's tape to tape windows in a star or X-shape. In case of high winds, the tape will help keep glass shards in check.

2. Keep those buckets handy if you are in a flood-prone area to bail out basements. They can also be useful for gathering up leaves to clear storm drains quickly.

3. Don't forget about your pets! Microfiber cloths can make quick work of drying a pet that just *had* to go outside to pee, but better to keep them in to be on the safe side.

4. Always keep a disaster preparedness kit in the car. For the winter, AAA recommends a kit including a first aid kit, folding shovel, blanket, hat/gloves/scarf set, and non-perishable food items. It's a good idea to keep basic items in the car year-round, e.g. blanket as a fender-saver for roadside repairs, and energy bars for those car shows with crazy concession prices .

5. If you have a temporary shelter or car tent like we do, I hope you've already taken that cover down and taken steps to secure it in case of high winds. Who flies kites in a storm anyway??
