I hope all of you don't take offense to this because I know there have to be some genuine VW friendlies out there...

I would love to come out to these meets, but everybody I see that drives a MKIV or MKVI is a d-bag.

I wish that I could wave to a fellow dubber and get some love back, My VR6 may not be slammed with stretched tires, but it would smoke your MKIV GTI. I dont go around being a dick about it.

So whoever that wangster is that was in the yellow GTI at McDonalds today.. Show some love for your fellow dubbers. Wearing a hat that matches the color of your car doesnt make you king of the Golfs.

Sucks dude. I've been to this meet once and can honestly say everyone I met came across very chill. And most drive MKVI including myself. Come out you'll enjoy yourself.

I agree, that sucks. Thanks for the nice comment dubb34r. I'll sum it up like this for myself, I treat people how they treat me. I don't like people being jerks either. We are all pretty down to earth in the group that meets in PTC. We would love for you to come and hang out. It just so happens that most of us have newer cars. I personally have had at least one of every generation that VW has made and I love them all (yeah Im old old fart in the group,LOL). Still want another aircooled. Again try to come out one Sunday that we gtg, I think you might just have a nice time.

They most certainly are. We would love to see some come out. However we are currently discussing a new time for our gtg's as the heat is just horrible as everyone knows and no one really has a want to hang out in a asphalt lot right now. Once we get a new location and time we will post it up.

I would like to make it, but that is the same day as my son's birthday party. I will definitely keep an eye out for the next local meet though.

It is somewhat unclear at the moment. As of right now we are looking to meet around 9am. I still don't have a definite number of attendants. I do plan to have everyone meet for breakfast probably at waffle house just to be cheap.
