That seems to be the consensus... Now to figure out the finish for them... I want to do the faces white, but that's already been done on a MKV, so gotta figure out something different...

Can't go wrong with white on white though.

Light blue would be nice as well.

I'm a fan of subtle/less is more. Dark grey faces might look killer.

Well I'm trying to keep the whole "white and brushed" thing going... But this isn't a bad idea either... I guess eventually I'll need to step away from trying to keep it with a certain color scheme and get a little creative with it...

Can definitely feel less engine movement... I never really paid any attention to it before, but now that it's not moving as much I notice how much it moved before... Haven't really had a chance to put it through all the motions and tests yet, but hopefully I will soon enough...

So I finally got my wheels back yesterday... Didn't turn out as great as I'd hoped, but the shop did the best they could with the damage that was there... They are clean and look good on the car, that is until you get up close and you can still somewhat see where the 1/2" deep gouges were in the wheels But, insurance is convering it, so whatever...

Kinda got irked at the shop as well... First off, the weights on the wheels where big as f**k and as I was driving off they kept hitting my calipers... Then I realized, they had switched the tires on my wheels! I hadn't noticed it initially I guess because I was so happy to finally be getting my wheels back... Went back and they switched them no problem, but still you would figure that is something a shop like that would pay attention to, especially when dealing with different size wheels...

I finally decided on new wheels as well Getting a set of DPE R05's custom built, 18x9 all around with staggered offsets and nice lips...

Whoa what? You run a staggered setup and the shop changed your tires on your wheels?

Yeah, I was kinda irked about it to... But they did do decent work on the wheels, plus they swapped them around (to the right way) without hassle... I even tried to tip the guys, cuz it was like an hour after they were supposed to have closed, but they wouldn't take it because it was their screw up...

So the car finally went in to get fixed... No more booboo's from the PT cruiser! Along with that, other stuff being done:

    New rear bumper (shaved)
    Passenger quarter panel being fixed
    Haldex wireless control switch
    HPA Hockey Puck
    Audi S6 lights
Finally gonna finish installing the hose to my EVOM intake (from the lower front)
    Cupra R Lip (color matched)
    Possibly shaved rear hatch

For now I just have to wait and enjoy driving my "MANLY" red Ford Focus

Anxious to see the color matched cupra lip. A friend of mine drives a GTI with some kind of OEM lip and it's amazing how much character it adds to the front of our cars - which our cars really miss without one imo.

So, since insurance is covering all this stuff... Had a little bit of extra money, goodies on the way!

    - R32 Dead Pedal
    - Brushed European Headlight switch with coming home (going to wire up for S6 lights)
    - VW bottle opener (for the Euro Cup Holder)
    - Blue blindspot mirrors

All stuff I had been meaning to buy...

Let me rephrase that... Insurance is covering shaving my rear bumper, etc... since a new one didn't need to be purchased... I DID NOT use insurance money to buy the recently ordered stuff, used my own money... Just had extra cuz other stuff is being paid for
