Bought the car back in November because I needed a decent daily, with decent mileage, 4 dr (for baby), and I liked the look . Bought it with 90K, and currently has 125K. It's my daily and only means of transportation

    Current Mods:
    Black E-Codes with fogs
    Smoked marker lights
    Black LED Repeaters
    Candy-Cane tails
Stage 1 Chipped (Done by PO, not sure what company)
    3" Race Downpipe
VDO Boost gauge in offset column mount
    Short Antenna
    Debadged Trunk
Cooling Mist trunkmount Meth kit w/VariCool controller
    Wastegate spring Mod

    Mods waiting install:
    Upgraded SMIC
    APR R1 Diverter Valve

    Future mods:
    Mostly maintenance

    Dreaming:
    F4H Turbo w/supporting mods
    3" E-Cutout to factory cat-back
    Dual Stage boost controller
Remove SAI, EGR, and other unnecessary sh!t under the hood
    517trans TC and VB
    Transmission cooler
    Emphase lip kit
    1-1.5" lowering springs
    Powder coat factory BBS's

Pics (don't have many, as I don't have much time to detail with work, family, etc)

    Free Advertising

E-Codes, 5000K HIDs, and Hella Fogs

(HIDs have been removed and replaced with SilverStar Ultra bulbs)

    Boost Gauge at night

And this is why I'm not lowering it, so don't even bother

    Debadged Trunk

    Shorty antenna

Update: Did a full top-end rebuild at 103K due to the timing belt going out. Hopefully she runs good for a while now

Tails will be gone soon; have some candy-canes sitting in the closet, just waiting for the right day (and time) to put them on. Not sure if I want to tint them a little first or not though; probably not . I'm not sure about the wing though; is it just stuck on, or will there be holes in the trunk if I remove it?

I know, hence the "don't even bother" post above . I mostly want it stockish looking too, so I doubt I ever will lower it. Another reason for all the OEM like exterior upgrades

    remove tails
    remove spoiler
    remove HIDs
    put side vents in

learn how to properly enter a driveway and you won't have any issues with going lower.

there will be holes if you remove the spoiler, because of the third brake light so just get another trunk lid which is what I did. As for the tails, it takes no more than 5 minutes to install them and if you are going for the smoked look just get gli tails.

    Oh and bag it.

Tails will be gone, eh on the spoiler, why the HIDs? And what the hell are side vents? And I know how to enter a driveway, I was just trying to show how steep some of the drives around here are; that's not even one of the steepest ones.

Hmm, might keep my eye out for a new hatch then. And bags are a possibility, but that's far far far in the future

HIDs in stock housings are a huge no-no. they blind the people you pass on the road
and the side vents refer to the inserts on your front bumper. obviously each one on either side of the middle vent insert

1 they're e-codes which have a little cutoff already, and 2- I have glareshields which work pretty damn good. In the pic of the lights the shields aren't in, and neither are the vents (I do have them though, just didn't put them back on yet for the pic). I ran with no shields for a few days and hated all the glare. With the shields installed, the glare is nearly none, and no one has ever complained about the lights. When he said side vents, I thought he meant those stick on POS's...Definitely not putting them on...

Dude, I live by the beach, where every place is built higher up due to flooding, resulting in stupid steep drives. It's not the roads, they're decent, it's the drives.

And yes, it is an OEM Wolfsburg wing; I like it, but am open to just about anything. Maybe I'll ask someone to 'shop it off for me

at least you learned one of the top 3 vortex no-nos today. Do not give excuses as to why you cannot go low. INstead never bring it up, or just say you are getting to it eventually.

I'll try and get some tonight; they definitely help. Not perfect, but I wish I could do a before and after shot, cuz the glare before was horrible. I had my headlights maxed out downward and still didn't like it. Now, they're aimed nice and look 10x better

Not a wall, but a fence, lol. Probably about 15ft from the car

Nice cutoff, but still a little glare. But it doesn't seem to bother anyone else, so I'm not worried about it. I got the xentec kit off eBay and they came with the glare shields installed. They even have a spot cutout so hibeams still work (and probably cause the little glare I have)

Wife won't let you buy coils? Dude, just buy them and have 'em shipped to a friend's place. Put 'em in there, then drive home. She won't notice. If she does, tell her your springs sagged, or that you got the coils for 28.50 shipped. Problem solved.
