Decided not to relocate the battery, and built a bolt-in battery tray. Also welded in my bung for the oil return line, and got the correct length serp belt;6pk1040.

Would have got more done but I have a paralyzing headache today.... It's killing me

really? what progress? we need pics!

when you get your hood and flip the throtle body dont forget to cut off the square nub on the bottom/top when flipped or it will hit your hood.....and for a throttle cable, "Longhair" on cepa had a great way to conceal it under the intake. check on that

thanks adam. i dont have a hood yet though so im going to just try to get it running as it sits, then ill flip it down the road.

made some good progress though. im really close now.
tried to fire her up today and... nothing. a quick phone call to mr. matt murray, and he told me where i went wrong. got the one little wiring snafu taken care of, and we got it to turn over! im not getting the buzzing from the throttle body that im supposed to be getting, and i cant get the fuel pump to run. getting very very close though

Got it running! My fuse block is on the verge of being junk, and needs replaced. Need dialed in, but it started w/o any starter fluid or anything... Just some good old 93 octane in the tank got it to fire.

Lol it's running open downpipe right now mike.
John, I'd love to say it'll be there, it's just cutting it way too close, and I still need axles, fix a brake line, an exhaust... And I'm sure tons more things that I can't think of at the moment

rerouted my boost tubes and reoriented the intercooer, so its now set up as a front mount as opposed to the bottom mount that i had originally planned on running. this should be more efficient and restore my ability to go as low as id like. i was also able to get rid of about 18" of boost tubing.
i also ordered my exhaust. 2.5" w/ borla muffler. ill have to fab up a test pipe once it gets here though.

also have my floors just about completely repaired, wiring is set pretty much how i like it. its getting very close! i need to do my pinch welds and some small areas yet on my floors, then its ready for paint! i may be able to take the ol' girl to phila T4T. not gonna rush it though, as i know theres odds and ends that im missing.

i kinda forgot that the c2 stage2 setup calls for a 3" maf housing.... so the car wasnt running nearly as well as it should have been. i sourced a housing and swapped the sensor out of the stock mk3 one i was using into this one, installed it into the car, and it immediately ran 100X better. i also got ahold of a obd2 scan port, and wired that into the car. i ran the wiring through the dash and into the ashtray so the port is hidden unless i need it.

hopefully today ill finish the pinch welds on both sides of the car. at this point, the only thing the car needs to be back on the road is a rear brake line replaced, and of course painted and put back together.
