Inside the life of USP Motorsports

We get alot of cool cars and things we like to share with the community. This thread will be our spot in the VWVortex community to share our projects and daily jobs.

For those of you who do not know us, here is a little overview... USP Motorsports is a Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche vehicle performance and repair facility, located in Coral Springs, Florida. We have been in business since 2001 building, tuning, and repairing these vehicles. We regularly perform a variety of operations on VW, Audi, and Porsche vehicles including turbo system upgrades, fuel systems, clutch jobs, maintenance, and engine repairs on both water cooled, and air cooled models. Our facility is six thousand square feet, with three Bend Pac vehicle lifts, a Dynojet 224x dynamometer, Miller Electric MIG and TIG welders, Hunter Road Force GSP 9700 high speed tire balancing machine, and a vehicle alignment machine. Our shop area, where vehicles are serviced, is a sealed air conditioned facility which is cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. In the shop, all of our technicians are experienced and ASE certified. We also have a full showroom with customer lounge and display cases. Here at USP Motorsports, we also develop some of our own parts including brake lines, exhaust system components, engine dampers (in conjuction with Fluidampr), intercoolers, and more.

Some of our records
USP Motorsports has been setting the bar in the community since 2001 and we continue to do so today. Our goal is to exceed expectations for vehicle service and performance on Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche platforms. This is accomplish this through dedication, attention to detail, and passion for the industry. We also put our knowledge to the test with the race inspired vehicles we build.

Over the years, USP Motorsports has developed quite a reputable name in the racing community and has managed to accumulate a handful of domestic and international records. Currently, USP holds the record for the quickest and fastest Audi in North America with our B5 chassis S4 powered by a turbo VR6 engine transplant. The record was set during a regional drag racing event at Palm Beach International raceway running a 9.7 @ 147.

USP also currently sets the standard for the Volkswagen community as well, housing the worlds quickest, fastest, and most powerful 2.0T FSI! Check out our 605whp dyno vid or the record setting 11.0 @ 131 quarter mile pass. We were also the first in the states to run a 10 second 1/4 mile pass in a MKIV 1.8T, and the second in the world to run a 9 second 1/4 mile pass in a Volkswagen, in our retired MK3 VR6 Turbo Jetta.

In the Porsche world, we have marked a milestone by building the world’s only Porsche 996 Turbo to trap over 200mph on a stock engine in a standing mile run. This was accomplished through our 750 wheel horsepower and 700+ wheel torque Porsche 996 Turbo. We also have a 10.28@140mph quarter mile pass under our belt in this 996 as well. This vehicle is fueled by a unique USP Motorsports Ethanol E85 conversion kit.

We mounted, balanced, and installed some Matte Black Team Dynamic wheels on a MK4 VW GTI today. They add a nice aggressive look to the car and I think they look awesome! Opinions?

Y'all got some comfy ass couches in your customer lounge there.. I damn near fell asleep there on Wednesday. But you seriously need to find the remote for the TV, I can only watch so much Young & The Restless or whatever that show was.

Haha! Should have asked us to change it. DTV can be pretty repetitive with the shows sometimes!

Well it has been too long since an update has been posted in this thread, so heres one to get you all up to speed with he USP S4

We made it out to the NSCRA South Eastern Finals in the S4 running much less power that our old setup.... I guess I should mention that we still trapped as fast as our old setup on these lower power levels! (I think this setup is going to treat us very well!) With a proper launch, we were on our way to another 9 second run. I think were all pretty eager to see what happens once we get this thing tuned on some higher power levels [evilsmile]

Great shop, very fast and very knowledgable! Just finished my Stage 3 clutch on my TT and will def be back for more work in the future.

They even washed my car when they were done!...oh the joys of the little things i guess
