It all depends on the weather. Their is usually a variety of cars out there. We usually try to get there around the same time, that way we can all park together. Around 2330-0001 it starts getting crazy. People start "racing" down the straight away in front of the parking lot. To me they are just being ignorant. Seen quite a few close calls out there with cars getting sideways. How far of a drive is it for you?

Saturdays officially suck....no VR6 to drive!! What else sucks is that I haven't had time to do anything...until yesterday. I pulled the cams out, got the exhaust off, pulled the A/C lines, and finished pulling the rest of the wiring out of the way. So the motor is pretty much ready to come out. Pretty sure the only thing that's left is to drain the fluids and disco the tranny cables. Also found out today that one of my coworkers has a vacant garage that he doesn't mind me using. So, now I just need to figure out how to get it to his house!!! Have fun dubbin!

mundo and i met up briefly, but with the cold weather coming it kinda keeps all of us from really going out. im always down for meeting up.. ill be working on my mk1 out at kapun a lot the next couple weeks... feel free to drop by

dual weber carbs and reinstalling all the interior. then a slow but steady full restoration.

however, i did just get offered another mk1, soooooo.. might not do a full restoration, but get the two of them up and running and able to pass inspection.

I'll probably be up there eventually. I saw the leathers in the MK1... very nice.... Sure wish I had those in my dub!

there was only about 5 cars... i doubt people is going to show up, its getting way too cold to be standing out there
