    could make mounts to lower the rear mounting location, but everyone lowers their cars... I think the solution is for aftermarket header producers to make headers that actually fit the car with stock components in place.

    I recently built something that might have been in this thread: I built sets of exhaust manifold flanges out of mild steel that are gasket matched for "build your own" headers.
    1% defined: Lone wolf, no club. Duct tape it yourself. It is broken down 1% of the time, and work is always 1% completed.
    2% defined: I'm too old to drive broken sh*t and VW people are cool. DBVW!
