So are we just spinning our own wheels here thinking that some of these are going to get made or has production started on the ideas brought up in here?

I think replacement motor mount brackets that have options such as poly, solids, newer mounts, etc. for most variations would be cool. I'm talking modular, easy swap stuff, that could driven to an event soft, changed in minutes and become full performance. Always wanted to experiment with this.

Scuba If I got in a cab and Esher was driving, I'd get right out. Then I'd ponder how drunk I was that I entered the rear of a 2dr rabbit and thought it was a cab.

could make mounts to lower the rear mounting location, but everyone lowers their cars... I think the solution is for aftermarket header producers to make headers that actually fit the car with stock components in place.

I recently built something that might have been in this thread: I built sets of exhaust manifold flanges out of mild steel that are gasket matched for "build your own" headers.
