I want to buy used cylinder head for 1.8t engine.
Can somebody give any advice or tips about testing it without evolving machine shop.
What will be obvious evidence of non working conditions of the cylinder head beside bent valves.
I can tell if they are bent.

Try to get one without sludge. If it has sludge you need to give it a bath.
