I like the casual polos at Kohls.com.

I usually get them for "free" using Amex points to get gift cards.

It seems like my other favorite stores (banana, express) only have polos with those ribbed "pique" or is it "pima"? colors that remind me of golf shirts.

      first and foremost:

      http://global.rakuten.com/en/

Japanese marketplace, tons of everything. Good for denim, leather goods, Japan-only releases, shoes (if you're small), sometimes super rare vintage stuff
Usually $$$$ because of exchange rate and shipping cost, but so worth it

      then:

      http://www.oipolloi.com/
      menswear mecca
      $$-$$$$

      http://store.archivalclothing.com/
      Bags, Made in USA basics
Bags are $, clothing can be $-$$$

      http://blueingreensoho.com/
      Japanese Heritage/Denim/Outerwear/Small brands
      $$$-$$$$

      Blogs:

      www.FreeManBrand.com
      Menswear

      http://simplethreads.wordpress.com/
      Menswear/Heritage/personal blog

Isn't highsnobiety like hypebeast in that they're not a store, more so a blog? This thread is for both?

I absolutely love Express. I'm a huge fan of their polos, military shirts, track jackets, and jeans.

      website: www.express.com
fashion type: no idea what to call it? all around + really nice night out clothes, i guess?
      price: $$-$$$

I really like Armani Exchange too. (I can't afford the real Armani )

      website: www.armaniexchange.com/
      fashion: night out/classy?
price: $$-$$$$ really depends. I found an AX outlet in New Jersey once and bought a bunch of shirts for $29 a piece whereas they're like $80-90 at the normal store

      J. Crew is alright, but it's way too overpriced

      website: jcrew.com
      fashion type: preppy
      price: $$$$

However, I mostly shop at Macy's (for Polo, INC, Calvin Klein, LaCoste, etc), Express, American Eagle, Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein, Polo Ralph Lauren, Occasional Tommy Hilfiger/Nautica

'Cause I am a girl, I like these blogs:

      http://www.garancedore.fr/en/
      http://www.copenhagencyclechic.com/
      http://looksgoodfromtheback.blogspot.com/
      http://www.manrepeller.com/

I *hate* Sartorialist, for some reason. That guy is a smug pr!ck who confuses fashion with style, and thinks that just because a jacket is tight then it fits.

My look is J-Crew-ish I suppose (for lack of a better description). I shop online sometimes, boutiques mostly, so blogs are more useful.

what do you guys think about Gilt.com ? They seem to have a good selection of higher grade goods discounted. Granted I don't really need/want most of that stuff, but it's good if you want some nice work clothes.

jcrew.com for my apparel other than tees as I make my own with blank shirts from Old Navy. Why spend more when I rotate all of my tees out every few weeks?

They last longer than the Gildan shirts we use for customers.
