Maybe there is more cool stuff under the hood? I don't know, but it's a possibility. Looks like a clean car regardless.

I think it was possibly the coolest/cleanest turbo setup I have ever seen. I could be wrong though.

Indeed it was Mere. That car deserved to win. It's beautiful inside and out. He should give it a go for Top Dog at H2O.

Was in it last year. And to validate Aaron it is a VF setup 400awp. You guys look for to many drastic changes on the exterior for great cars, it really is about everything that is done. This car has the all around great package. I may have been in a few rides in it and this may sway my perspective but he always does something new every year to it or atleast trys too.

props to the guy with the r32 the car was sooo clean and soo nicely put together. He got my vote for sure.

id say drastic changes arent an issue for this show bc the car that won mk1 has won straight for 6 years and the car is pretty much unchanged.

yes pat's R32 won bets of show.
in fact...he won best of show in 2044 at cult. myself and jay lehrmann choice best of show. not the crowd. pat also won 1st place in mk4 class...so the crowd loved it as well. fuzzy's maroon mk5 was the "2nd best of" but his bay wasn't as done up as pat's..love both cars...but only one can win!
the car is perfectly put together, unreal clean, and he upgraded things since 2004. like so baller R8 recaro seats. pats a great guy, has a love for the cars and put together a great R32.

congrats pat and thanks for everyone coming josh

You guys made a good choice. It is the all around package and is amazingly clean and well thought out on top of that an owner that really is cool to hang with also. Thanks for another great show Josh.

The R was ridiculously clean , well thought out and flowed together perfectly... It wasn't exactly my style..but jeeze you could eat of the calipers and rotors. It was just that clean!!....Great JOB!!!

What an a$$hole statement. All of the regular awards are voted on by everyone showing in the event. If you don't like Ivan's car, don't vote for it. With this style of voting the owner of the car is also part of the equation. He's a great guy with a beautiful Rabbit.

Re-read the quote that pissed me off. Disregard my pissy-ness...

Lol, i came here for mello shooting pics..

I have 4 cherished Cult classic awards including one that I had to glue back together piece by piece after a shelf hanging gone wrong at home.

This is the first time cosmic took first along with the biggest mk1 turn out to date and my car is finally they way i had wanted it to be 6 years ago.

I will give you that there have been no "drastic" changes, but aside from the exterior, pretty much everything else has been modified in one way or another since The first Show. I care more about details that make me smile, than being different.

I got to say its nice to be at a show where you dont need to worry about a judges check list and cars that people like for what ever reason can win.

im sorry i didnt mean that comment to be offensive.

i dont know ivan personally but his car is dope and obviously everyone else thinks so too... he got first place. The mk1 class was huuge and the turnout for the show in general was awesome! i had a great time and met a ton of really cool people. thats what its all about.

jay and josh picked a hell of a car for best of show. and im sure it was a tough decision because there were a lot of really nice cars!

why cant we all just get along

    anyone more pictures??

J/K Have not had time to edit the rest yet. Your set up is sick.. Hopefully I will get to check it out at madness or some other show this season. I had at least 10 people ask me if i saw your car before I made it back that way.

He is local to me, and is my prefered VW Tech when it comes to Dealership work. Very awesome guy and a good friend to have. He used to be a Tech at Holbert's but you can now find him at North Penn. Request him when you take a car there and he will treat you right. I was hoping he would win something this year, oh well. He had the best MKI Rabbit at CC in my opinion, but I might be a bit biased.
