This is something of a feeler, but should someone come with cash and want to take it home I'd let it go for the right price. I've owned it since August 2010, bought it from another member on here that took very good care of it (most of the pics are from him)
I'm considering selling it because it stresses my family out every time I drive it. Even if it is a structurally tough car, I'm 6'5 with my head about half an inch from the roof and no air bags. They don't need the additional worries right now.
- passat glass roof
- schrick oil pan
- 90mm euro lip
- keskin kt1 wheels 16"x7.5"
- cooper zeon zpt tires
- ebc green stuff pads
- ebc slotted and dimpled zinc coated rotors
- H&R 8mm wheel spacers
- H&R sport springs
- Bilstein sport struts
- eurosport rear strut bar
- vr6 front strut bushings
- poly rear strut bushings
- new starter
- new power steering rack and pump
- vr6 clutch
- bbm solid front motor mount
- bbm rsr outlet
- bbm stage 3 chip
- 3.5bar fpr
- vr6 grill (not installed)
- red laminex on tail lights (except for reverse section)
- new plugs and wires from GAP
- Corrado floor mats
- isv reroute (not installed)
- new battery
- new front and rear wheel bearings
- new water pump at 120k
- techtonics catback (aluminized) - 2 resonators w/stainless borla muffler
- high quality black leather shift boot from redlinegoods, momo gotham knob
The charger was rebuilt by BBM about 3000 miles ago, it has the wide belt conversion and a 65mm pulley.
The stock head unit and speakers were still in the car when I bought it (and completely shot) so I replaced them with inexpensive (pyle) speakers and a decent Pioneer head unit. They're not great, but they get the job done and they're better than a set of shot stock speakers.
No mechanical issues, spoiler works, moon roof works. There are some minor dents /dings on most panels, some key marks on the passenger side. The DS quarter panel was whacked with something and is nicely dented, but it shouldn't be too much trouble for a shop to fix if you want that done. I haven't had the time. One of the PS headlight adjusters is snapped.
It was originally an automatic but was swapped to 5-speed, the fuse box in the drivers side well doesn't quite fit under the cover that came with the car, so it hangs a bit tilted. Could be pretty easily remedied with some zip ties or something along those lines.
Asking $4500. Located in Western MA or SE CT. PM with questions or if you'd like my phone #.

just wanted to bump this up.
haven't been trying to sell it recently but i haven't been driving it much either. poor college student here.
passenger side window regulator plastic clip thing bit the dust, so the window stops about 1 cm from the top, could be replaced for ~$150 or repaired if you have a bit of know-how.
I'd let it go somewhat reluctantly for $3500 at this point, i could just use some extra spending cash.

Any rust anywhere? Underbody shots? Know what batch of Keskin's you've got? (or pics of the keskins close up)
Thank you, many times over.

No rust that I've noticed other than a tiny spot on the hatch, probably smaller than a dime. I don't have any underbody shots, I did go under and look at it when I bought it a few years ago, and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, granted it was two years ago. No more info about the Keskins, what is the difference between them?
Sorry I can't be more helpful, I'm at college 2 hours from home, and the Corrado is at home...

Would love some undershots - I have to sell my car in order to buy this but it's definitely the plan and my car is not a 'dub so it should sell pretty quickly![]()
