Thread: Any other 2012 owners out there?

I loved my A5, but was overly optomistic that I could live with a 6 speed for my commutes.

The difference in technology is incredible, it will take me a week to figure it out.

I'll be seeing mine in about two weeks. Can't wait! You're right about the tech being at the next level. It's definitely advanced but not too much of a departure from the MMI system in the Q5/A5/A4.

Congrats! Are your options the same in Canada?

Congratulations on the cars guys. Demand's been so high that they've been released from port early and early adopters like you get to have them early. Jealous.

I've spent time in the new cars and the latest evolution of MMI is fantastic. It's very hard to move back out of one of those cars, particularly with Google navi and heads up display.

Be sure to let us know what you think of it as you log some miles.

Thanks, guys! The limited time I've had in the A8 and A7 have really sold me on the tech in the A6. The drive of the A7 is amazing and I can only imagine the A6 will be better. From what I can tell the options are the same in Canada and the US, but how the trim levels and option packages are laid out is different. In Canada we won't be seeing the 2.0T CVT for 2012. Not that we mind!

    2012 Audi A6

Recently returned to ranks of Audi owner after 28 years. I really liked the new look of the A6 and new model A7. Eventually settled on a garnet red A6 that I purchased on Oct 4th, 2011. Really loving this vehicle with all its high tech attributes.

    2012 A6

Have had my 2012 A6: Prestige with Innovations Package for about 6 weeks now. Had a 1999 A6, a 2001 TT and a 2004 Volkswagen Phaeton in the past, and am thrilled to be back in the Audi/VW fold. Shopped the A6 against the BMW 5 series; really felt there was no comparison between the two in terms of interior, tech and the power curve.

Loving the technology in this car; the MMI is truly evolved, and I like how the central display complements the main MMI display (the Phaeton had an early iteration of this). Will be making regular trips up to ski country; we'll see how she does in the snow.

No manufacturers defects; quite an accomplishment in a car with this much engineering and so early in a new model run.
