    2001 Golf Jatco 09A Transmission Problem

    I have just replaced all solenoids in valve body on 2001 vw golf - Jatco 09A (JF506E)transmission, Initial problem was not shifting out of 1st when cold. Reassembled, tested, now will only drive forward in all gears. Can anyone help please?

    I'll bet he took the VB off, which you dont have to do, and left the manual valve unhooked.
