    still available?

What is the year of your A4? Also do you need the entire roof rack or just the fit kit?

  7. 04-24-2012 11:24 AM #8
2008 a4. Just the fit kit. It will fit the 750 foot pack i have, yes?

  8. 04-24-2012 11:47 AM #9
You should be using the 400xt or 400xtr for your A4. If you want the new Traverse roof rack system, the foot pack is 480 or 480r.

That would be ideal but I already have the 750 from an A3 that I used to own. If it fits (which I believe it does) I'd like to buy it. Do you still have them? Thanks.

Sorry but i don't feel comfortable selling the fit kit to you since you don't have the correct foot pack.

That is awfully nice of you but I am taking responsibility for it and willing to buy so why wouldn't you sell to me? Besides do a quick search on google and you'll see that they are compatible...

Sorry, not willing to take the risk of a Paypal chargeback when this doesn't work. Good luck with your project.

Wow, you are either really stubborn or lazy. Why don't you do a simple search on google? They are compatible. 750 is the euro version which has a better look but they are essentially the same. There are a bunch of other sellers on diff forums selling the 1212 and the 750 foot pack.

And just to make sure, I just called Thule to confirm that they are indeed compatible. So if you want to sell yours, pm me or might as well delete this thread.

Not stubborn or lazy, just have been burned by people on forums and Paypal. It is up to me if I want to sell this to you, I am not obligated to sell it to you. I don't want to deal with you telling me it fits and then something doesn't work and you put a hold on the Paypal payment. I don't have the time or the patience to deal with that. Sorry and again good luck with your project.

There can only be 2 reasons for you not wanting to sell.
    1) lazy: you don't want to google and confirm that 1212 fit kit is compatible with 750 foot packs.
    2) stubborn: you've confirmed that they are compatible but are not wanting to transact because you don't want to give in.

Since I've already verified that they are indeed compatible, you have the same amount of risk with anyone else wanting to buy the kit. If it makes you feel better I will mail you $35 cash. Geez, you are difficult.

At this point I would rather sell to someone else who is less confrontational and rude. This post is officially closed.

Ok I stand corrected. You're not stubborn or lazy, you're just stubborn! You've clearly proven my point.
