$35 to park inside and show off your ****, and enough cars/vendors/racing to keep busy most of the day is not really that awful. you could spend that at a go-kart track and only be occupied for an hour or two

I'm gonna spend a dickload of money on my car, then whine about 35 dollars to go to a show. Hmm.

i think they should make it more expensive, so less tools come to the show

They should make it minimum 50$

Im just comparing this event to others at the same venue. It a bit expensive. for everyone who thinks i dropped a bunch of money on my car, it pretty cheap when you do it all yourself. what i get from the money i spent on my car far surpasses the $35 parking spot at waterfest. I think it was $20 to show at Dustoff this year and that is totally reasonable. I would rather a million people come and make my town rich over a weekend than people not want to go because its too expensive. Maybe im bitching because i don't have a career outside of my education but moneys tight and this event feels like robbery. I may come for gen admission because i feel like $20 is a great price for an afternoon of good times but idk who would feel comfortable paying $15 more unless they were over-competitive and egotistical.

I seriously hope no one would key your car based on your opinion. It's your money man, do what you want with it, no one here knows your budget. It is expensive but it's also only once a year. Hell, I think I'll be out close to $500 if you include tolls, gas, hotel, and entrance fee's for me and the wife. But this a mini-vacation for me and I'm sure for others too so don't hate on us for wanting to go either

Sucks you won't be there though. I love your car. Haven't seen it in person yet and was hoping to see it this weekend. Atleast you should get out to some of the festivities Saturday night

But I can bitch because I'm an unemployed Army Vet that just got out and can't find a job to save my life lol. I will however still be there on Sunday. Its my first "real" show in two years, because Fort Hood sucks. Hopefully there are some sweet cars there

I agree.. i think its a bit over priced.. Guess alot of people thought the same since waterfest kept extending the dead line for registration. Plus showing sucks since its just an opinion from someone that doesnt even know anything about VW/audi's.

    ill still be going though

You miss the real reason why its so expensive. ITS THE TOWN YOU LIVE IN. They keep fighting with raceway park because the tools come and build million dollar houses right next to a racetrack that has been there for 60+ years. They complain and try to get the place closed. The Sheep in the town are sharks and raise taxes. The money has to come from somewhere.... That somewhere is you my friend. People are in business to make money, the venue (E-town) is a business.

To hold the show the Waterfest people need to get

    1> A venue
    2> Insurance -aint cheap
    3> employees

And more garbage I didnt list.

Etown wants more money every year to pay "increased" expenses, insurance companies want more money all the time, and the employees have to get paid more.

    Its a vicious cycle, brother.
    Cry once....
