Should be like $20 to show. Judging sucks anyway.

I agree.. i think its a bit over priced.. Guess alot of people thought the same since waterfest kept extending the dead line for registration. Plus showing sucks since its just an opinion from someone that doesnt even know anything about VW/audi's.

      ill still be going though

You miss the real reason why its so expensive. ITS THE TOWN YOU LIVE IN. They keep fighting with raceway park because the tools come and build million dollar houses right next to a racetrack that has been there for 60+ years. They complain and try to get the place closed. The Sheep in the town are sharks and raise taxes. The money has to come from somewhere.... That somewhere is you my friend. People are in business to make money, the venue (E-town) is a business.

To hold the show the Waterfest people need to get

      1> A venue
      2> Insurance -aint cheap
      3> employees

And more garbage I didnt list.

Etown wants more money every year to pay "increased" expenses, insurance companies want more money all the time, and the employees have to get paid more.

      Its a vicious cycle, brother.
      Cry once....

Its my first "real" show in two years, because Fort Hood sucks. Hopefully there are some sweet cars there

Wait.. wasn't the OP's car parked inside the show at a vendor? I'm pretty sure I saw it, so therefore you didnt have to pay?

I spent $17 on water and powerade alone on Sunday, and I got 4 bottles of water for free from the SCCA guys! Need to get the concession prices under control before they reduce admission. Higher entrance fees make the show a little more exclusive and help to keep some of scum out.

yea i saw it in the VW booth also but what I dont understand is that you would drive to dustoff and pay for toll gas and entrance and a show in your own town which is basically catered to you and you cant swing the entrance is pretty lame
