i did my spacers a few months after i went air. and i didnt really notice it being held up all that much more. i mean MAYBE 1/2" higher.
so just because you have a 1" spacer does not mean you need 1" bigger notch.
the hole saw i used has a 3 5/8" (OD) the pipe was 1/4" thick. so my final ID is 3&3/8" and im still not laying frame.
HOWEVER. that 3&5/8" is only front to back. not top to bottom. remember the pilot bit is at the half way point. whats that?.?.?.?... 1&13/16... i believe. minus the 1/4" pipe wall. which brings my final vertical depth of 1&9/16" my axle does rub in the notch. for my its either the LCAs or the tie rods. i've check a few times since i did the notch, and not paint has been rubbed off.
I gotta take off my fender and look. I think the notch isn't wide enough.

not wide enough? that cant be... unless you didnt use a hole saw.
did you use an oxy/acetylene torch, plasma cutter or sawzall?
if you used a hole saw then the width of the notch, should be the diameter of the whole saw.
but from what i can see, just comparing from mine and yours. they're about the same. whats your Passenger front FTG?

It didn't cost that much. I think it cost me total about $500 before I had to replace the bearings.

I brought it to a shop for the notch. My welding isn't good enough to do it myself.

A little dirty? It looks like I have gone muddin with my car. My girlfriend lives down a 1/4 mile dirt road. When it rains there's a large mud puddle halfway down.

Take off your front wheels and look up. Theres a strip of metal that hangs down. You use a hammer or malt to bend it up. Kinda like rolling your fenders, but you don't have to worry about being gentle.

If you don't flatten them they can hold you up.

Close to it. It's literally right above your tire. Cant miss it. Air all the way up and you can probably feel/see it. I'm about to go run out and get an alignment. If I can get a pic with my phone Ill post it.

No fender liners. They were chewed up to hell a long time ago.

      I wish I didn't have to drive down a dirt/muddy driveway everyday.

      semi related question

do you have any issues hitting your inner fender ant? i know even at 23.5ish a spot on my inner fender was polished out due to rubbing. i think it had something do with my semi stock tire size though.

I do have some rub marks, but I think it was from when I ran my winter wheels at 23".
