how big is it?
but i dont think that has any real effect.
i did my spacers a few months after i went air. and i didnt really notice it being held up all that much more. i mean MAYBE 1/2" higher.
so just because you have a 1" spacer does not mean you need 1" bigger notch.
the hole saw i used has a 3 5/8" (OD) the pipe was 1/4" thick. so my final ID is 3&3/8" and im still not laying frame.
HOWEVER. that 3&5/8" is only front to back. not top to bottom. remember the pilot bit is at the half way point. whats that?.?.?.?... 1&13/16... i believe. minus the 1/4" pipe wall. which brings my final vertical depth of 1&9/16" my axle doesnt rub in the notch. for me its either the LCAs or the tie rods. i've check a few times since i did the notch, and not paint has been rubbed off.

did you use an oxy/acetylene torch, plasma cutter or sawzall?
if you used a hole saw then the width of the notch, should be the diameter of the whole saw.
but from what i can see, just comparing from mine and yours. they're about the same. whats your Passenger front FTG?
this is where im at with my notch.
im pretty sure im being held up by my tie rods and LCAs.
