Well before I locked my ass out my car I fixed my hatch mechanism with a gas door popper and some zip ties. I no longer have to climb over my back seats to open my hatch.
OEM wire wrap???? Nope, hockey tape.

Did some part # searching on my MAF and found I have a VR MAF.![]()
Not sure if I should replace it with the correct MAF or not.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Weird thing is I knew vr housings were larger but I definitely have the regular housing. So I guess someone just swapped the actual sensor.

If you suffer from the doors locking on you because the CCM doesn't get a signal that you opened the door, just switch ignition on briefly and then turn it off. Doors won't automatically relock once you turn ignition on.
I have owned too many MK4's so I know...
