Had an 01 Z28 with lid, long tubes, True duals, and a tune. Fun car, very fast, but literally falling apart. I gave it to my brother as a project, needed a family friendly car, but I wanted something fun as well so I have a GLI ordered, should be here in about a week.
Went from my 2011 CR-Z to a 2011 TDi.
The CR-Z was a fun car. Rather sporty, cutesy, fun, and efficient. It got me around the same 38ish mpg that the TDi gets me now. However, it was tiny and impractical. I drive out to the filed very often for work and some of the equipment (not to mention) people did not fit too comfortably in the CR-Z. And after 6 months, I still couldn't get used to that automated on/off hybrid thing.
The Matrix was a great car for our budget in 2006, but when we got our Sportwagen it was only a matter of time until we sold the Matrix and got another VW. It's amazing the difference $6k will get you.

I had to trade in my baby
This was when i bought it

It was a 2000 golf gls...i bought it in 07 with 33k, fuel pump went out at 102k it was my first car, im really sad i had to let it go because i made so many memories in it, it was basically my life, but it was a total piece of **** so its nice to upgrade...they gave me $300 for it
toffee brown jetta s
-put my system in
-gli bumpers and skirts
I WAS stuck driving an 07 Kia spectra.....which honestly i cant really(Correction...SHOULDNT really) complain since it never once gave me any issues. i had it from 12 miles toalmost 80K when this happened. I was hit by a F250 with brush guard, he had floored it coming out of a parking lot....i was 2 mins away from work...
i was left with a minimal down payment to buy a new car, but the silver lining was that it happened near the end of the year when everyones having huge sales and pushing out inventory. i lucked into this.
2012 SE. it still dirty cause its been raining a lot lately. im hoping to add some chrome strip to the front end to give it a GLI look tonight and take more picture when its dark out.
I sold two vehicles to get into my new Jetta. First was my pride and joy, a 1999 Camaro Z28;
I rebuilt the engine with an MS3 Cam, 243 heads, LS6 intake, Longtube headers and 3" true duals all the way to the rear, the whole nine yards. It was a six speed and tons of fun to drive! I sold it last week, very sad day.
Then today I traded in my 1999 F-150 XLT SuperCab;
It's been in the family since brand new, my dad got it in 1999 and I got it from him in 2005. It was a great truck, 2" lift up front and some 285/75 all terrain tires. I traded it in this morning for my new baby, a Candy White 2012 Jetta SE with the Convenience package and Sunroof! I couldn't be happier!
I'll miss the other two vehicles, but it was time to move on. Can't wait to start modding the new car!

I just traded in (yesterday) a 2007 Mercury Milan for a 2012 Jetta S with sunroof (manual). So far I LOVE the car. This is my first VW ever (actually it is also my first new car, my wife usually gets the new vehicles)
And the new car (sorry for the bad picture, I snapped it before leaving for work this morning)

2008 Audi A6 Sline... yup.
Basically because I got the Audi cheap (it was a Hertz Rental) a couple years prior and the trade in wasn't too bad, in that I was able to take over $10K cash trade-in-value on top of what I owed, and I still had 2.5 Years of Payments.
So basically Got the TDI, which fits me better. (The A6 was a great car, but it was more about luxury than a drivers car, the A6 was a BIG car on the outside, (but not on the inside, the Jetta is BIGGER). Also cut my payments in half, which is nice, and the gas bills will go down with the diesel over the 19MPG on Premium I had before. New Car, New Warranty (Audi Warranty was done, although it was a CPO, the Audi CPO is basically Drivetrain only, and not as good as it seems as it doesn't cover the stuff that breaks on Audis (electronics...). Also HATED my local Audi dealer...
