it does crank. the battery is fine. the gas tanks full, filled it up last night. i started it this morning

aroun 11 AM drove to work around 4 PM i tried starting it didn go i put the clutch all the way down to

the firewall and revved it a couple time. i let her sit till 1 AM (like 15 mins ago) got in and she started

rite up but i had to rev it a couple times so it wouldn choke and shut off again. but she drove fine on

the way home just parked her.

sometimes i hear this ticking noise coming from the back end passanger side of the car like from the gas tank, not sure what it was and my mechanic said he doesn't know what it would ec considering it didn throw any codes for it.

this is normal operation. the engine rpms has to overcome the added friction of the ac compressor

hear a weird metal griding noise when i speed up. its very faint but its there. and my bumpers off being painted. i think a wheel bearing is going and it squeels at low speeds lol. and its to high needs to be lowered, the hoods paint is starting to peel also (painter messed up the hood and bumper) the last owner put in ****ty brake pads and there making my wheels ugly with crazy amounts of dust. the paint needs a power polished, the stock deck needs to be changed to a double din nav dvd screen. but u know what is good..the exhaust. just got a res delete and new tips, and installed the flapper switch. sounds amazing! i <3 my .:R

waiting to be able to order DLI mounts (available week 32 for anyone interested), then replacing the need to be replaced mounts - all three.

Going to go with the APTuning spherical bearing dog-bone and DLI's for motor and trans.

Not needed right now, but at the same time, I will have the low temp fan switch and the low temp thermostat and nice fresh strut tops installed.

My PS fluid is a little low, and I need to clear codes, but my vag cable is at my cousin's shop and I am LAZY after work...

Once all that is done, then install the HID's sitting in my garage (thank you Jason Rhodes!) and wrap her in white...

Not much wrong with mine, but I'm working on it. Things normally only go wrong when I try to fix something that isn't broken. I have a new circular bushing for my dogbone mount I'd like to install, but my luck has been pretty good for a while so it could go wrong any minute.

There are some normal wear issues like paint chips on the hood and some driver's seat bolster wear. I also get an occasional cel for a cam position sensor, but it only comes on for a few minutes every couple weeks so it hasn't been a priority.

This past Sunday coming back from waterfest my car started to over heat. The needle was between 190 and 260. This happen on my way home and it was really hot out- close to 100 degrees. Im guessing its the fan and the fan didnt go on in time to cool the car down. I drove it yesterday and it didnt over heat at all. Did anyone have this problem before?

2 weeks ago the drivers seat bolster started separating at the seam. BTW, It is a no-no to use the bolster and your elbow to lift you out of the car.

Had an auto interior guy look at it and he said it would cost $200 to repair since it will require removal of the seat cover and restitching from the inside-out. I proceeded to wal-mart, picked up some 6 lb fishing line, a thimble and a canvas needle and stitched it using the original holes. All done while waiting for my wife's airplane to land at DIA. I'll get a picture uploaded soon. I'm very proud. From 10 feet away you can't even tell that anything is awry.

The car runs great but I'll need new rear brake pads at the next oil change.

Car is making squeaking noises when I go over bumpy roads. Suspension related, had new H&R sways put in and that seemed to magnify things. Still getting a horrible whinning noise from the engine, worse now that I put DLI mounts in. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow for an oil change and the 70K servicing. Hopefully they can isolate these issues. If those get fixed I may not sell her.

My car hates Waterfest. Last year I got stranded because the alternator decided to quit.

This year I had done so much preparation and I spoiled it so badly with goodies like H&R coils and BBS RS-gt's.

In exchange, this is what happened:
-Hatch refused to stay shut after I tossed all my bags in it on Saturday morning
-Developed a squeak on any road that isn't absolutely perfect
    -Developed squeaky brake pads
-Developed an exhaust leak that sounds like a bicycle when its rolling without pedaling.

Oh, and my a/c still isn't working. I was sweating all weekend!

    wtf.

I love my r but I've had tons of problems.
Engine light does what it wants.
My drivers seat knocked off the clip for the visor (only took 5 years!).
Changed the alternator a few years back as it was charging my battery to 19v.
Replaced the rear diff (bearing housing got shredded to bits).
    Foggy headlights.
And most disappointing of all, tred clear coat peel aaaalllllll over. Roof, hood, sides. It's poopy.
