Its your car man! Its your project! You must be happy in the end and so if you like the choices you made, that's all that matters. I am really digging the entire theme with this build and can't wait to see the body work and paint!

All the interior parts were just dropped off the interior shop. 2 hours later we finally have a lay out of what we are going to do.

Front LSD was just completed yesterday and the transmission was re-assembled. Not sure of the case made it back on, I dipped out before that happened but the diff and ring gear were assembled and torqued to spec and all the gears and selectors and bearings were put back in. You basically need to remove and disassemble the entire transmission with ALL the assemblies inside laid out on a table just to get the factory differential out. Then you have to drill out the bolts because they are one time use bolts that hold the ring gear in place so once you have done this there is no turning back. You have to install the LSD unless you send the ring gear and factory diff back to germany for them to put new bolts in it. Pictures of all this will be up today

Weaksauce. Until the start of this year I was 450-ish and I've been rocking the stock seats since I bought the car new. I did have to have the bolsters re-done (in real leather, natch), but that's it.

(About 140lb smaller now, and so the seats are working even better!)

What makes you say that? Real leather wears a lot better than pleather for sure.
