Can you please tell me how did you get the fog lights to work with DRL LEDs at full intensity. In india we have the same passat but I have four options for outside lights:

1. only DRL LEDs at full intensity
2. automatic - which during day is option 1 and during night brings the main HIDs on and dims DRL LEDs. Fog lights are off, only turning lights which come on for a few seconds at turns.
3. parking lights - front DRL LEDs on but their intensity is reduced with rear red lights on. the rest remain off
4. Option 2 (day) with fog lights

I would like the intensity of LED DRLs to remain at full in option 2,3,4. Can you please help.

This is a beautiful car! Especially love the headlights. I doubt VW will develop a wagon off the N. American Passat platform. Wagons just don't sell in enough volume here. I do think an alternative is to import the European model, however, to extend the Passat lineup.

Here's what I suggest. Bring over the wagon in Alltrack trim (to tempt more SUV and CUV buyers). Offer it with just one setup - 2.0L TDI, 4-Motion, DSG. Price it around $32K. Start ringing the cash register!

Yes here in Sweden it´s called B7 also. I had H&R on my Passat but it was too low in the rear.
Didn´t like it at all and I think I´m going have Eibach instead.

Question about lights- so both your headlights and fog lights are "adaptive" and xenon/hid... So this means that your fog lights move/rotate the same way your headlights move and shine in the direction that you turn the steering wheel driving around a curve in the road?

(Trying to comprehend how incredibly awesome this is)

Second question- now that you're low on coilovers, do your lights not point correctly? and you had to have the dealership hook up to the car to make the lights level with the new ride height?

i like them very much, no scraping and perfectly "stiff"

no, i have converted the foglights into hid, so they are not adaptive, but i have "turn lights" in the same housing, if you see, there are two bulbs in each foglight
(hope you understand what i mean )

i think the lights are ok, they adjust them self, but im going to the dealership to check them on tuesday

A friend of mine has a B7 Passat but he finds himself in situations where the auto light doesn't always come on as it thinks the place isn't dark enough for some reason so his instrument gauge goes dark till the auto lights start up. Ever experienced this?
