I bought a MBC but i hear using the stock boost solenoid with a ECU flash is a better choice? I searched but didnt really find what I needed. I just want to make another 40-50hp with a tune and bolt ons if possible.

I dont know much about these cars seeing this is my first VW. I came from a 800hp Supra to a 2006 Evolution 9and now to the VW. So any bit of info or advice would be appreciated!

If anyone has AIM messenger that could talk to me about the VW world that would be awesome also. My SN is Shane101518

sell the MBC and just purchase software from a company such as APR, Unitronic, GIAC or Revo. It will be much better for your car then just running a mbc which will cause your car to go in to Limp mode due to it seeing a increase in boost and not enough air/fuel to compensate.

also, why did you go from a supra to an evo and then to a VW? i mean seriously, i wouldn't have left the supra

I feel like after owning the supra, you'd have better understanding of things....

LOL sorry about the original post, i tried making a thread from my phone and I didnt look over it obviously. I hate the auto-word feature thing.

I really just wanted to know if its worth putting on a MBC on the car or just have it controlled by the computer.

Here is a few of the Supra, I would swap wheels depending on what I was doing. I had some cheap Sport Max's to cruise around in and go to shows and then I had stock TT chrome wheels which had my Mickey Thompson drag radials on so it would hook somewhat......if you need more lemme know

      it was my grocery getter..

Good look at the MT drag radial....

The Evo......which was totalled by a dumb ass lady who ran a stop sign

I have a few videos on You Tube...

I usually raced on low boost and pump gas which was around 530-575rwhp. Id only go balls out on race gas is if I had a race setup a few days prior to get enough C16 in the fuel system.

Me against Jessica Barton (if you dont know who Jessica Barton is just Google her )

Here is an old dyno run I did at a Supra Meet. It doesnt sound too impressive, the audio might be messed up but it made 520-540 that day in 101 degree heat.
