They are extreme duty ring cranes. They can lift up to 3,200 tons. Pretty nasty mofos.....

I worked with mammoet on a small local job, and saw some pretty amazing stuff. There is a reason they are one of the world's best at huge lifts.

Mammoet wanted to display their lifting might and had their headcourters pre-assembled somewhere, shipped in, and lifted in 1 piece onto it's new loacation here in Rotterdam a couple of years back.

I had the chance to watch one of these Lampson cranes (they're based out of Kennewick, WA) do lifts. Pretty dang cool.
