    Honestly if you are into this stuff check out cloundynights there is alot of knowledge in that place and you really donot have to break the bank on a huge scope to get some good views of the sky, planets and some deep sky objects. One thing I would recommend everyone starting out is find a scope/mount with the computerized "go-to" feature. Its amazing the amount of stuff that is up in the night sky that I would never of found without it back in the day

    Thanks, I'll look into it. The wife has been wanting to get a descent scope for her hobby.

    It has accelerometer so it only lights up when it's at certain position. It flashes hours first and then minutes.
