    Thanks sir!

Yep. Silverline X with no helper springs and rear perches are in. The car will probably never go low enough to require the perches out...or even the helpers out, but I never install them, just in case. I also have the rear dampening at half a turn away from full stiff and the front at one full turn away from full stiff. Rides stiff when we need it but soft enough to be comfortable.

The Borla exhaust has been purchased.

I originally bought it through Amazon for $750 shipped, but it was going to be almost November until it shipped. Luckily, I found an ad in the classifieds for a BNIB Borla system for $760 shipped from California. Last night I cancelled the Amazon order and PayPal'ed the funds. Hopefully within a week or so we will have it.

Thanks man , picked up a great deal on Konigsports locally so I am probably gonna go with FK's due to their great rep and the local warranty.

Is there any issue fitting them without helper springs? like what are the chances that the spring could become unseated? I suppose I could search but you seem to have long standing experience with FKs?

Slim to none. The ID of the spring is barely bigger than the OD of the sleeve. Its not going anywhere.

Every time I jack the front up, the spring drops down a little. But while driving, I highly doubt it. As an example, I had no issues with the GLI during Wookies In The Woods and had no issues.

Did an oil change and tire rotation last night. I was surprised to find that the front tires had more tread than the rear by 1/32". I rotated anyway just to keep them wearing evenly.

While the driver front wheel was off, I poked around trying to figure out what was bent that was causing the camber to be of by -1º. From the looks of it, the ball joint is bent, which is a relief because it's only $50. So I'll be picking one up and then the tricky part is finding the time to replace it. Thankfully, not a hard task at all.

Borla is still on track for Thursday.

I will be picking up a new ball joint this afternoon. Also, did not know that on the R32, ball joints are side specific. I would have guessed that it wouldn't make a difference. Now to find time to replace it. Perhaps this evening.

Ugh. I replaced the ball joint last night and also shifted the control arm mounts and that did not fix the issue. Looks like the coilover is the issue. Most likely the insert. Still need to pull the strut.

FK uses Koni adjustable shocks in the rear. You make the adjustments with the strut off the car; you fully compress the shock and then twist. Instructions should have been provided with the kit.

It isn't anywhere near as loud as the Unitronic system was, but you can't have it all.

It needs to break in a little more before I take any good videos, but I am overall impressed and believe it was well worth the money. The fitment is tricky. I had to quickly adjust it once because it was touching. But I will need to get the car up on a lift to properly adjust it.

Onto the photos and a video:

It really is an amazing exhaust. Louder than stock but certainly not as loud as any of the other aftermarket options and as you said, little to no drone.

I enjoyed mine while I had it.
