I'm waiting for APR's H20 sale and then I will be picking it up for sure! Hopefully this new update meets the numbers "other tuners" have been putting out of around 330whp.

If you don't mind me asking, what is you fender to ground measurement? And do you have your front fenders rolled? Thanks.

Thanks! I haven't checked in a while so I really can't be too sure. I think it was around 24.5, maybe a little less all the way around. I did the fender screw mod in the front and rolled them a little with a bat.

Just checked this last night. I am right around 24FTG all around.

On another note I've pretty much haulted all progress until I get the K04. I'm currently living/working in Cleveland and will have to go back to my parent's shop in Northeast PA to do the install. So I somehow have to time up getting days off, APR having a sale and being able to get tuned before I can go home and install. It would have worked out great if APR had one in stock at H20, but they didn't. I'm guessing this will all happen around Christmas time.

PS. I picked up a winter beater to save my GTI from taking all of the winter beating. 97' Jetta 2.slow for 700 bucks. Has barely any reverse, but I'll deal! This has been the update of the week

I have a couple questions for you on the speaker wiring:

Did you cut the stock wiring behind the HU, sending the front L+/L-/R+/R- outputs from the HU (before the cut) back to your amp's speaker-level inputs, then sending your amp's L+/L-/R+/R- outputs back up to the stock wiring (after the cut)? That makes sense to me - just want to make sure I understand what you did.

BTW, any idea how the stock speakers are crossed over? From what I understand there is no amplifier external to the HU, and yet the outputs of the HU are not frequency-isolated. Is there an inline crossover attached to the individual factory speakers themselves?

That's pretty much what I did, except I used the SOT-976 harness so I didn't have to cut my stock wires. No idea how it's crossed over. All of my speakers are running off an alpine amp under the hatch carpet and I adjusted that until it sounded well. Idk how much better using a cleansweep would make it, but it sounds real good now. Alpine components up front and stock reads btw.
